Chapter 16 : Memories?

"How many days has it been since I gained consciousness?" I asked Haku boredly, "I'm Boooooored!" Haku sweatdropped as I yawned. We were out in the training fields but Haku wouldn't let me train all he had been doing were teaching me everything he could about the human body and I learnt quite a lot! though I don't know if I can remember them. "If you overuse... your... Chakra after just gaining consciousness, You could go into a coma." He said. "You only gained consciousness 2 days." He replied, looking at me curiously. I tilted my head, "What is it? You keep looking at me like that... Do you have something to ask?" He nodded slowly, "It's something that happened the day you passed out... Zabuza-Sama doesn't know about... it..." He eyed me slowly, " Are you a Jinchuriki? " My head snapped up and eyed Haku nervously, "Why do you ask?" 

"That day you passed out, behind you had 2 yellowish-orange tails... They were swishing vigourously and only after you passed out, they disappeared. He lifted the sleeves of his Kimono and showed me a large bruise. I gasped, gently touching his bruise. "Did I... Do that...?" I asked in shock. I couldn't hide the terror and fear on my face. I guess this is what Naruto feels when he's injured someone and he didn't even know about or controlled it...

"Haku I'm so sorry! I..." 

"So you are a Jinchuriki?" 

'Dammit! Goku, please help me out!' I said in my head but there was no response.

"Look, I'm so sorry! I only found out yesterday when...when..." My tears automatically flowed down and I couldn't continue my sentence. Fear crashed through my head. I feared this may screw up my plan... Suddenly I was enveloped in a huge hug. "Shhh it's okay Ashley Sama... You must have been scared..." Haku said gently, looking at me with concern. Not the 'Couple Love' type of concern but a Motherly love. I forced a small smile, "You don't hate me?" I asked nervously.

"Of course I don't, to be honest I've grown quite attatched to you as I am with Zabuza-San." He smiled at me. He stood up. "Don't worry about anything. Your secrets fine with me. Come Let's go back to the hideout. I'm going to pick some herbs. I want you to follow me. It'll be good excercise since you can't particularly train and it'll be a good time to teach you about herbs as well." He smiled happily and I couldn't help but smile back.

"I'm going to pick herbs!!!" I cheered in the hideout. Actually, now it didn't sound all exciting. "Isn't it boring to just go out and pick herbs?" I asked Haku who was letting his long hair down. Just then I remembered this scene and I remembered who we would be meeting. I put my hands together and performed the transformation jutsu and well, transformed.

Instead of my long and straight turqouise hair, my hair shortened to shoulder length and I had bangs. My hair was up in a bun too with chopsticks through it. My hair colour changed to Yellow and my eyes became a pale blue. I grew 2 inches taller and I had slightly bigger eyes. I glanced into the mirror and smiled. He wouldn't recognise me cos this look is TOTALLY different than my normal look. There was just 1 problem...

"Haku could you lend me a Kimono?" I suddenly spun around and asked him, which is weird considering he's a dude and all. He looked me up and down before reaching into a bag and taking out a sky blue kimono that had soft pink petals print. As he handed it to me, he looked at me with questions in his eyes. "We're gonna be meeting someone whom I know - you know him too - and I dont want him to recognize me." I explained simply and Haku just nodded.

After picking some special herbs for an hour or so, my head was already spinning. I didn't know that some of these everyday plants were herbs! Thats so cool! Haku showed me poisonious herbs and miracle herbs. Everything was facinating except - it was too much for me to take in in an hour. As Haku picked up one of the herbs, a bird perched on his shoulders and Haku smiled at it. "Isn't it the cutest thing?" I cooed the bird but it soon flew off in a direction which me and Haku turned to face.
