Loid, Franky, and I sat in the car in silence on the way to my childhood home on the other side of town. Loid and I sat in the front while Franky sat in the back... technically the trunk since this car didn't have a back seat. Loid had one of his co workers taking care of Anya tonight.

I looked over and stared at Loid. He wore a white suit with a black trim and a bright red tie to match my dress. His hair was slicked back while two pieces hung from the front. His eyes were focused on the road, but I could tell his mind was focused on something else. His hands gripped the steering wheel of his Corvette really firmly.

"Do you think Loid looks good right now or something? Why do you keep staring at him?" Franky asked nonchalantly.

And then there was Franky, who was wearing an all black body suit since he was going to be hiding in a vent anyways.

I looked back at Franky and scoffed, "Tch. Shut up. I wasn't."

I crossed my arms and looked straight ahead to the road and rolled my eyes. I slightly looked over to Loid subtly without trying to make it noticeable. He was smirking...

After about another twenty minutes of silence in the car, we finally arrived... to a long line of cars that were waiting to be valeted.

"Holy shit, this is your house?!" Franky asked in disbelief.

"My parents house... Their stuff isn't mine. So don't lump me in with them," I scoffed.

My parents really did have a nice house. They had it made in a unique way. The outside was made with black stucco while the inside had white marbled floors and walls. The structure of the house was made up of three rectangles that was two stories high that had the highest ceilings I've ever seen. One front centered while the other two were pushed more back, meeting up in the middle with the front rectangle. It was a complicating concept, but my family was everything but simple. The driveway followed along a trail of well groomed bushes and trees that had a grand water fountain in the middle. The house was very well hidden, until you get past all of the landscaping.

There was no need for any of it. It was just my parents, my two brothers, myself, and my sister.

"How does one even accumulate this amount of money?" Franky asked.

"By stealing it..." I quickly responded. "My parents are scammers. That's why I refuse to be associated with them."

"Is that why you stopped talking to them?" Loid asked.

"That. Along with other things... I don't want to talk about that right now," I said.

Our car inched a little more forward in the line.

"Okay Franky, get out," Loid said.

"Sounds good. I'll be in the vents if anyone needs me," Franky said, sneaking out of the car and roaming off into the trees.
