"You sure are pretty..." I heard a voice say, a soft hand touching my cheek.
I tried opening my eyes... but I couldn't. I couldn't move.
"I wonder how an ordinary girl like you got yourself involved with Loid... you must be pretty special," the voice said, letting out a sweet, yet manic chuckle.
"Until we meet again... (Y/N) Forger," the voice said, putting a lot of emphasizes on my newly legal last name, sounding as if it were trailing off into the distance.
I finally my opened my eyes, gasping for a breath of air.
"Nurse, she's awake!" Loid yelled out.
I was confused as hell. Somebody was just here, talking to me. Was it Loid? No... it couldn't have been. Why would he have mentioned himself like that?
I continued to breath heavily and try to catch my breath as I looked around the room.
I was wearing a white gown, underneath some white blankets. Loid was sitting in a chair beside me, clinging on to my hand with a worried look. Anya was sitting in a chair beside him, eating peanuts and watching something on Loid's phone with earphones in. I had no doubt that it was spy cartoons.
I then watched as a woman with scrubs trailed in with a clipboard, looking relieved to see me, "Finally you're awake, Mrs. Forger. How are you feeling?"
It was obvious that I was at Berlint medical, but why? What am I doing here?
I stayed silent, trying to find the answer in my head.
"Can you hear me, sweetie?" the woman asked.
"Oh. Um, my head really hurts... why am I here?" I asked.
I rubbed my hand on my temple and winced at the pain.
"Let me go get you some pain meds," the nurse said, trailing off.
"I'm glad you're okay," Loid said, tightly holding on to my hand.
"Why am I here? What happened?" I asked, trying to adjust myself in an upright position, wincing at the weakness of my body.
"You still have it in your system. Just take it easy, alright?" Loid suggested, giving me a worried look.
"Have what in my system?" I replied quickly.
"Rohypnol," Loid said.
"Can you say that in English? What the hell does that mean?" I scoffed.
