part nineteen: at the hotel

colby's POV:
she's asleep in the back. she was leaning on the glass i tried moving her but she wouldn't budge "hey uh elton should we take her to the hospital" "yeah sam directions please" "already on it" we all drove in silence. "mm fuck" "you okay" "yeah just my head and leg hurts where are we going" "hospital" elton said sternly i can tell she was scared. i grabbed her hand and she looked at me i took my seatbelt off and moved closer to her and put it back on she moved closer to me and i held her tightly. she leaned her head on me and played with my bracelets. "where did you get this one" "oh i meant to give this to you we have matching ones" i said taking it off and put it on her "i love it thank you"

we ended up sharing different playlists and laughing in the back. "we're here" elton said as he parked the car. we both got out and she limped inside "how can we help you" "so we were walking around filming a video for youtube and before we had came here i was in the hospital and had to get stitches because i was harming myself and we need to get them restitched" "oh no are you okay ? i'll get the doctor. please have a seat" so we all sat down but all of the seats were taken "hey meadow sit" "no i wanna stand you sit" i signed and pulled her onto my lap.

"they are getting close elton" sam whispered "i know they are but she's still mad at me. i should've listened to her" "dad none of knew what was gonna happen" she said reaching for his hand. "meadow" "yes that's me" "come on back only one can come back with her" we all looked at each other, "colby you go" "you sure" he nodded his head and i got her into the wheelchair and she immediately grabbed my hand. they wheeled her into the room and got her on the bed, i sat in the chair next to her and she reached for my hand. i know she hates hospitals so i'll try to be there for her.

~an hour later~

"and we are done, do you need any pain meds or anything" "no can we leave sorry i dont like hospitals" "yes we need your dad to fill out some discharge papers" he then wheeled her out "she'll need to be in her crutches for a bit and if anything gets worse a wheelchair" the doctor told elton. he said okay and we left, this has been an eventful morning.

~3 hours later~

Meadows POV:
We've been at the hotel for a bit now. I've been drawing and the guys have been editing nonstop. "Hey Colby uh weird question can you help me to the bathroom" "oh yeah of course" he said as he stood up. We slowly walked to the bathroom and I sat down to brush my teeth "do you wanna sit on the counter near the sink" "sure" he picked me up and put me there. We brushed our teeth together and I was going to get down to wash my face and he helped me. My legs were shaking and I lost my balance.

"Hey hey take it easy let me help you" I started tearing up. "Hey ba- meadow don't cry what's wrong" "I feel helpless. I have to rely on you guys to get me around. Why didn't my fucking attempt work" I screamed hitting my fist on the wall" "it didn't work because it's not your time to leave us. Let's get some sleep. I'll see if Elton is okay with me in the same bed as you" "no leave me here to die on this hotel bathroom floor"

I curled up into a ball and felt myself being lifted and saw everyone was asleep but Colby and I. What am I doing. Deep down I know I loved Corbin and Colby and I started off on such a bad foot. But I'm starting to develop feelings for him. I shouldn't be thinking like this. What's wrong with me. Colby laid me down and got in next to me and held me close. I cried into his chest and fell asleep to his heartbeat.

~next day~
We decided that we were just gonna hang out by the pool. I could get in thankfully. So I got in and swam to the other side where they weren't so I could be by myself for a bit. I was swimming around for a bit and then I bumped into someone "im so sor-" I turned and saw it was Colby "oh no you're okay I was looking for you anyways the guys asked me to see if you wanted food" "no I think I'm okay maybe in a bit though" I said swimming closer to him
