Part fourteen: Getting ready for my birthday {Part one}

Meadow's POV:

"Colby what are you doing here just leave" "no because you're mine and mine only Corbin's gonna hurt you. But you are too fucking blind to see that he doesn't actually care about you" "Colby I would like for you to leave please I don't want to deal with you right now" "no not unt-" I cut Colby off by turning and kissing Corbin "leave. now" he walked out and I followed just to make sure to lock the door.

Corbin went around his house to make sure all the windows and doors were locked. "Corbin are you okay" he ignored me and went to his room so I went into my room and changed into sweats and a sports bra and just laid there thinking and playing with the strings on my sweats then there was a knock on the door "come in" I mumbled. Corbin walked in and came over to the bed and sat at the end and looked at me I sat up against the headboard with my leg pulled close to me.

"You okay Corbin" he shrugged "okay look Corbin if you're just gonna ignore me and just nodding or shaking your head or shrugging your shoulders just leave please I am just trying to cheer you up" "I'm sorry I just didn't want Colby to come in like that and say stuff like that" he moved closer to me and I put my leg straight out in front of me and came over and put his head on my thighs. I went to play with his hair but remembered that I have to try and keep the act up which is really hard but I'm holding it in.

I feel bad for pretending that I don't know him it's starting to get hard for me to do "hey you okay" he asked I nodded my head "I know you don't remember me right now but can you play with my hair please" I nodded and he moved so he was in between my legs, so I started playing with his hair.

I smiled to myself and he closed his eyes, I can't pretend anymore it's killing me "C-Corbin?' "yes my love" "can you sit up and face me please" he nodded and sat up and faced me I held his hands and he smiled "I love you cor" "wait do you remember me" I smiled and nodded my head. His face lit up and he pulled me closer and hugged me tight and we fell back. I started giggling as he started to kiss my face.

"I love you so much oh my god you don't know how happy I am right now" I giggled and kissed him "baby can we go back up to the cabin because your birthday is tomorrow" I nodded my head and he helped me up and grabbed my stuff and brought it out to the car and came back inside to get me and help me out and into the car.

When we get into the car he put his hand onto my thigh and looked at me and smiled. He pulled out of the driveway and drove to the cabin. "Hey my phone is being stupid do you mind if I use yours to call my dad" "yeah, of course, your thumbprint is still there" I thanked him and grabbed from him and unlocked and called my dad.

Phone convo:

M: Hey dad

E: Hey sweety whats up

M: I just wanted to let you know that Corbin is taking me up to his cabin for my birthday

E: Okay thanks for telling me hopefully, that helps jog your memory

M: Yeah hopefully hey I'll call you later when the phone isn't acting up

E: You won't have to worry about that why don't you stop by and get the new one I got for you and the gifts everyone got for you

M: Okay dad thank you

End of convo

"Hey he said for us to stop by the house because he got the phone for me and everyone has some gifts for me" "alright I'll drive over there" I said okay and gave him his phone and we pulled up to the trap house and everyone was waiting outside and they handed me the gifts and Elton gave me the phone and told me it was all set up and ready for me and handed me his gift.

We said bye to everyone and left I switched the sim card to the new one and saw that the lock screen was the pictures of me and Corbin on our first date and the home screen was everyone else making stupid faces and Sam was on Elton's shoulders. I chuckled and locked the phone and someone started calling me I answered and it was Colby he just said that he was gonna get me to be his one way or another.

I told him to put me on speaker and get everyone together and I told everyone that I remembered Corbin and everyone was happy about it but Colby and they all started yelling at him so I hung up.

"What was that about" "I don't want to talk about it right now" "baby if he's bothering you please let me know and I'll handle it" "he's been acting weird since I was adopted and like I don't know I just don't want him to constantly get in the way" "hey I have a surprise for you tonight and it'll help get your mind off of this" (😉😏) Corbin said as he put his hand on my inner thigh. I looked at him weird and all he did was smirk and continued driving.

~An hour later~

We got to his cabin and he parked the car got out and helped me out and we went inside. Once we got inside I went to the bathroom limping and I checked on my leg that they had wrapped up because my cuts had opened, I cleaned my leg and rewrapped it and washed my hands and left. "Baby are you okay" "yeah just had to clean and wrap my thigh again I'm okay" he came over and kissed me and held me.

"So I kinda made dinner plans for us would you like to go on a last minute date" I nodded my head and we headed up stairs and changed. I wore a simple flowy summer dress with Corbins help and black heals and left my hair the way it was. Corbin changed into black ripped jeans a red shirt and black and white vans. I grabbed my purse and phone he grabbed his wallet and phone and keys and we left.
