Part twenty: date night

Meadow's POV:
We left our room and laughing as we were walking together down the hall, we got into the elevator and continued making jokes, he's so cute when he smi- meadow what are saying you know you still love Corbin, I can't get over him. I pushed the thoughts behind as we got out and went to the car.

Colby is something else but what corbin and i had, i felt a hand grab mine and i looked over at colby and smiled at him holding his back, "so colby why are you taking me out tonight" "to start over with you, i had so much going on and hadn't realized how i was treating you" "i didn't realize how i was treating you colby and i am so sorry, you didn't deserve how i treated you"

We sat in silence until we got the restaurant, he got out and ran over to me and helped me out, "ugh i dont want to use the stupid crutches, i hate them" "here use one and lean on me" i nodded my head and leaned on him, "hi yes a table for two please" we walked to the table in a quiet area, "so hi I'm colby" he said putting his hand out "and I'm meadow" i said shaking his hand. "I can't do that" he said laughing. "Look meadow i am so sorry for everything, i really care about you and i want to make things right with you, you and corbin weren't supposed to start dating, we were. What am i saying, look it was all a stupid bet, an-" "what ?!" I said letting go of his hand "you and corbin made a bet on me, for what to get in my pants" "no no it was-" "save it, take me back to the hotel I've heard enough from you" "meadow wait no hear me out"

I shook my hand and called an Uber and waited outside, "meadow please" "save it colby, i really thought you were different" i said looking up at him letting a single tear fall, "i thought you were different" the Uber came and i got in and she drove off, she didn't speak English so we drove in silence, I went inside and went back up to the room "hey you're back early" sam said "did you know" he looked at me confused "did you know that corbin and colby made a bet on me" i said sternly he shook his head and i looked over at dad and he nodded his head.

"I'm going home, i can't with you guys" i said packing everything, "whenever you guys get back don't expect me to be at the house. I'm leaving for good" i then went and booked a plane ticket home "meadow let me explain" "get away from me i have nothing more to say to any of you" i walked out and called another Uber to the airport, they came shortly and we left, i can see in the mirror colby running after the car, he soon disappeared.

~20 minutes later~

The driver woke me up and helped me get my stuff on the dolly and i pushed it inside getting to my gate and sat there alone thinking to myself and crying, i was told i got to board first since I'm injured, i got on and sat but the window alone the whole flight. Many many hours later we arrived in California. I called Kat and she came to get me, "hey how was the trip where's everyone" "it was fine and they are still in Japan, can we go home I'm packing and I'm leaving" "what happened babe" "did you know that corbin and colby made a bet on me" she shook her head and drove, i sat there crying.

We got back to the trap house and i went to pack everything and had her drive me to a hotel far away from everyone, "this is all i have" i said handing her a 100. "No no babe you keep it how will you get a room" i shrugged my shoulders. She got out and paid for a room for me for a month. I hugged her and she left, i went up to my room showered and changed, if only my attempt worked. I thought to myself i laid down and got on my phone and saw a bunch of calls and texts from everyone, asking where i am why I'm not answering. I ignored them and went to sleep

Elton's POV:
"You fucked up cobly, why would you tell her about it" "what was I supposed to do elton, i wanted to make things right with her, i wanted to tell her that i loved her" "you clearly don't she's back in California moved out" i booked us our tickets and called everyone back home nobody knew anything, sam called Kat and she said she picked her up and dropped her back home and left for work and hasn't heard from her since she left the house, "look what you fucking did" he walked to the bathroom changed and fell asleep the three os us fell asleep packed and ready to go home in the morning

*buzz buzz* i woke up to my phone buzzing, i saw it was meadow, i snuck into the bathroom to answer

*phone call*
E: hey where are you

M:somewhere, i don't know. Why did you let them do that to me, why did you let him make me fall in love with him, why dad

E: i didn't think they would take it that far

M: bulllshit dad, if you didn't think they'd take it that far I wouldn't be alone somewhere that's not my bed, this is the last time you'll hear my voice, I love you dad thank you for giving me the best life i could've ever asking for, thank you for adopting me. Bye dad love you

E: meadow wait, meadow don't hang up on-
