Part fifteen: Dinner date {Part Two}

Meadows POV:
Corbins been quiet the whole car ride and I was worried "hey babe are you okay" "yeah sorry I just have a lot on my mind i don't know if you'll like this dinner" "how about we just get take out and go to the lookout and eat there instead" "okay that sounds good" so we got take out and went to the lookout area and took some pictures and then ate and talked.

We finished up and went to the cabin. I changed into shorts and one of his shirts and he came up behind me "oh my god Corbin don't do that you scared me" "I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to" I turned and hugged him "do you need help changing the bandages" I looked down and sighed but nodded my head. I still hate myself for doing that ahh I shouldn't have relapsed but I did and it's too late.

He picked me up and brought me to the bathroom and looked at my thigh and kissed it "all better my love. I think for now we should leave it and then I'll put a new one on before we go to sleep" "okay sounds good" we walked out to the living room and just cuddled and watched movies and it started pouring rain and the power went out "hmm that's weird that normally doesn't happen. Stay here baby I'll be back" he said has he handed me my phone and a lantern.

He went and checked the fuse box and I heard and loud knock outside and it scared me so I yelped and he came running back and I pointed at the door. He looked outside and ran to me and picked me up and brought me to the basement and opened the safe room and told me to stay there so he could get his phone some blankets pillows and other things we might need.

- 20 minutes later -

He came back with everything and locked the door and turned the emergency lights on in the safe room "babe what's going on" "someone's trying to break in but this safe room is so well hidden that they won't find us it's okay baby don't worry they won't find us. It's soundproof and the light won't give us away we can hear them but they can't hear us" he said as he pulled me closer.

At this point I was shaking and I was really scared. He held me and comforted me and I eventually fell asleep.

- an hour later -

Corbin's POV:
Eventually she fell asleep after we ate and talked. I moved her over and went to see if whoever was out there was gone and they were but there was a note and a box in the kitchen for Meadow. I looked at who it was from and it was Colby. I called the cops to report him. And they handled it. "Baby" I heard Meadow call me "kitchen my love" she came in rubbing her eyes

"Colby broke in and left this for you" "I'll open it later what time is it" "10" "what do you want to do" "let's wrap your leg and watch a movie or something" she nodded and went to the bathroom. She's the cutest little thing. I followed her and helped her up and started cleaning her leg and wrapped it. "What movie my love" "whatever you want babe"

We watched a few movies and then she eventually passed out on me. So I brought her to the room and put her on the bed. I went and got ready for bed and got in and pulled her on top of me and fell asleep.
