Chester's POV:

I woke up and Mike wasn't in bed. I yawned and stretched, spotting a note on the nightstand. I grabbed it and began reading.

'Chaz,
I went over to Brad's for a while to plan out some band practice schedules. I would've woken you up and asked if you wanted to come but you're just so cute when you're asleep. I'm surprised I didn't wake you when I got out of bed.

I should be back in a couple of hours, as we have other band crap to do too. Feel free to stop in when you wake up if you get lonely or else make yourself more at home. You're free to rearrange anything you'd like, you get the right to as you'll most likely be staying with me for a while. ;)

Phoenix and Joe might be in their apartment all day today too so maybe pop in there to get comfortable with them. Rob will be with us by the way because he lives with Brad, in case you've forgotten.

I'll see you soon no matter what, cutie.

Love,
Mike ;)'

I snickered to myself silently. Mike seemed so cheesy now but I loved it.

It seemed odd to me how quickly we warmed up to each other. I'm usually quite shy around people. Hell, I wouldn't usually date someone this quickly, especially a guy. The thing is, Mike felt different. He's not like other people. He cares and he has a heart and soul.

I began my day by grabbing the bag I had brought from home and removing things in it and onto the bed. I hadn't packed much, especially clothing wise, but it'll do for the time being. I opened Mike's closet door and saw hangers grouper together and tied with a bow, a little note attached.

'For you, my Chaz ;) <3
-Mike'

I laughed a little at that. He must've had extra hangers and figured I'd come here first. At least I knew it was alright to hang my clothes in his closet.

I didn't use up over half of them by the time I finished hanging my clothes. I wish I had brought more with me but under our previous circumstances when I had packed, we didn't have time for more.

I eyed the room and another note caught my eye but this one was bigger. It was on the top drawer of Mike's desk in his room. It had my name on it and lots of little doodles on the paper. My favorite one was the drawing of Mike handing me a rose. It was more than adorable.

I opened the drawer and I grinned. A single rose was laid inside the drawer. I wonder how Mike had time for this stuff but didn't question it too much, for I'm loving it.

I smelt the red rose and went into his small kitchen and instantly saw a glass vase on the table, already prepared for a single flower. I set it in and marveled at it. Mike was smooth, it seemed.

I wondered just how early he must've gotten up at in order to set all of this up. I opened the fridge and saw another surprise. Mike had made me breakfast and stuck the plate in the fridge with another note attached.

'Chazzy<3
Just pop this in the microwave for about, oh, thirty seconds? I hope you like it. The sausage especially ;)
-Mike'

I laughed as I did what the note said and was still laughing thirty seconds later when the microwave beeped. Mike is too great, I swear. He better come home alone when he returns, he needs some type of award...

I turned my thoughts away and looked down to fully see what was on the plate. Two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and sausage, and some toast. Again, I wondered how early Mike woke up to do this.

When I finished eating, I felt my heart flutter when the phone rang. I had this distinct feeling Mike was calling. I instantly went and answered.

"Hey!" I beamed cheerfully into the phone and heard Mike's chuckle.

"So you found all of my surprises, Chazzy?" He asked. I could just feel his smirk through the phone.

"What surprises? Mike? What?" I heard Brad in the background and let out a laugh as Mike ignored him.

"Enjoy breakfast?" Mike hummed, clearly remembering his note.

"Mmhm, especially the sausage." I hummed. "You're up for something good when you come back."

"Oh, am I?" He asked innocently.

"What the hell are you guys talking about, Mike!? MICHAEL KENJI SHINODA, I WON'T BE IGNORED." Brad yelled in the back and I laughed again.

"Mike, write down: 'I won't be ignored.' That would make some pretty cool lyrics." I said quickly and could hear Mike shuffling around and then writing.

"Mike, what are you writing? Mike?" Brad asked, sounding closer. "Why are you writing down what I said?!"

"Chaz said they sounded like cool lyrics." Mike replied casually and Brad remained silent. "He's just beaming in pride and went back to his chair. I don't understand that man."

"I don't understand you either. How early did you get up to plan all of this?"

"Well... Oh, I don't know... Maybe around four."

"In the morning?!" I gasped and Mike laughed.

"Well, Walmart's open 24 hours a day so..." He trailed off and I simply smiled to myself. "I better go before Brad breaks out of his blooming pride state."

"Okay, I'll see you soon."

"Alright and Chaz?" He added.

"Yeah?"

"I think I love you." He said slowly before hanging up the phone.

Mike's Pov:

I'm probably the only human being to say 'I love you' to a guy I've barely met. We just got together last night and I just couldn't help but tell him I loved him. I mean, it's not like I don't know anything about him. We had that really long talk together and learned more about each other.

What if I just messed it all up. I mentally slapped myself. I know I love Chester but I shouldn't have said anything so quickly. I can't risk losing him now, the thought is unbearable.

The phone rang, interrupting my thoughts.

"Hello?"

"I think I love you too." Chester said softly before hanging up. I smiled in relief and hugged myself when I set the phone down.
