minho studied more at the study of the withdrawal society building. he rummaged through the blood work files and typed more into his laptop. he tried to find more info about the severity of jisung's situation, but since there has been no contact for almost a month now, it was hard to even find info about it. so the only thing he could do was look through books about the bloodwork society and try to pinpoint the outlying details.
minho's job was to of course go on missions, but also to find outside details about the blood work society that people don't focus on too much. the small details may not seem like a lot, but those small details can lead to higher things which can help the withdrawals.
minho rubbed his eyes from tiredness as he continued to type his long essay, it was so close to being done but minho couldn't focus and find the right things to say for some reason. suddenly, someone walked into the study he was in.
"your still working? it's almost midnight felix is probably worried about you." chan said crossing his arms and leaving across the wall next to him. minho just sat fully back in his chair and stretched his arms.
"and? felix knows i can come back even later on some occasions." he countered and chan just tilted his head with a weary smile.
"plus i'm almost done with my essay to jinyoung." he added continuing back to his laptop.
"well hurry and finish, y'know i still have to somewhat "close" this place." chan told him. since jinyoung was out for the day, he gave chan the duty to close the withdrawal offices.
the top floor where the outside world was, the building is seemed as normal office duties. which it is, with the exception of all workers being purebloods or some form of vampire. but below is where the withdrawal society plans and jobs take place. the group just presumes the normal "office job" for looks.
"i got it, didn't you already clean up?" he asked while typing and chan nodded.
"just waiting on you to finish." he said walking to the door.
"i'll be waiting upstairs." chan then opened the door to leave and left the study leaving minho alone. minho focused hardly to finish his last paragraph swiftly to not cause chan more stress than he already had. he could tell the man was tired, of course not tired as if he needed to sleep, but tired as he needed to debrief and rest.
minho finally finished his paper and sent it forward to jinyoung. after he finished he closed his laptop and put it in his bad. he checked his apple watch and saw two text messages from felix.
my love : hope ur work isn't stressing u too much. nabi's on her period so pls bring home chocolates or something.
my love : ps. she keeps asking for u so hurry if u can 🙏🙏
minho smiled at this and made sure to note buying chocolates for nabi on his way home. the man then made his way upstairs being sure to lock the door to the base before fully leaving. he then met up with chan upstairs and chan let him leave wishing him a goodnight.
