some time had passed and jisung decided to go to the maid quarters like the woman nayeon said. he decided to go alone in case something were to happen. he didn't want his friends to get hurt, much to chenle's dismay of wanting to go with him.
since it was cleaning time it didn't look suspicious if jisung would wander to the maid quarters.
opening the door he walked into the room, nothing out of the ordinary was to be seen. that was until out of thin air nayeon appeared. which meant only one thing, she was a pureblood. jisung jumped at her sudden showing but took a breath.
"god- don't just do that." he muttered and nayeon gave a apologetic smile.
"sorry."
"just tell me why your here." he said getting straight to the point. nayeon crossed her arms, she still adorned the same outfit from before jisung noticed.
"well it's simple, i'm here to help you and your friends escape. i'm sure you all want to leave at any means necessary, so that's why you have me." she smiled folding her hand infront of her.
jisung had no clue if nayeon was telling the truth or not. why would a stranger just randomly tell him that she could help him and his friends escape. it could just be some sort of ruse.
"why should i trust you? especially in a setting just as this." he antagonized the girl.
"who else do you have to run to? there's going to be no one else that's gonna give you the resources and help you need to get out." she rebutted.
"all i'm asking is for you to trust me, that or i'll leave you and your friends here to die on your own."
the air ran thin at the point. jisung was conflicted. he so desperately wanted to get out, and he knew how much the others did to. if any but a small chance that could help them escape, he would take it. but now that the chance has been presented to him, he didn't know what to do.
"why should i believe you'll really help me? how do i know you will help me and my friends?" he asked.
"im associated with your group, withdrawal." nayeon stated.
his eyes widened at the mention of the society.
"wh— what's a society member doing out in a place like this?" he said in disbelief.
"i work undercover, it's just me doing solo jobs. not even chan knows what i do sometimes." she explained. she then handed jisung a piece of paper.
"on this paper is the floor plan of the mansion, this will help you figure out which rooms are occupied by members and which aren't. and which room is the best to flock in and escape out of." jisung consciously grabbed the paper from her hands.
"i'll meet you back here tomorrow, same time."
jisung stared starstruck at how the woman just handed him the most valuable thing him and his friends needed to escape.
"oh- you'll also need this." she handed him another object. he couldn't believe at what she just bestowed to him.
a key to open the collar on his neck.

chan had read the essay/document minho had written for him and he could say one thing : it was very evident the man was fed up.
he just wanted to see his friends again, not only for his sake but for the sake of his family.
chan knew how close jisung and felix were, and he knew how the news of his disappearance had felix on a range of emotions. he didn't want that to continue for any longer than it already has.
he then sighed before closing his laptop.
"surprised that your here, nayeon." without turning his back he sensed the woman's presence.
"it wasn't like i left the society forever." she grimaced going into his view. she wore a more casual look. a white cardigan that her shoulder popped out of and black pants. her hair was pulled behind her ears and flowed on her collarbone.
chan smiled,"its nice to see you again despite it seeming like you did." nayeon then sat in front of him. she crossed her arms.
"im just doing solo activities for now, but i think my most recent quest will interest you." she hinted. chan leaned back in his chair more relaxed.
"and that is?" he quirked his eyebrow at her. nayeon then placed her hands on the table in front of her.
"i know of the location of your missing friends." she said.
chan sat frozen in his chair. there was no way she could find that info so quickly? he had known the girl was good at her missions, but he didn't know she could acquire such valuable assets that easily.
before speaking he scoffed and looked up at her,
"i can't say im surprised you found them so easily, you were always great at your job. now tell me why you decided to come to me and not just save them on your own?" he asked.
"i need the society's help with this. most missions i can do by myself but this one needs a group effort." she leaned forward.
"im asking for a rescue group to be set in place as soon as possible. if we don't act quickly your friends will die in a place like that. plus with lia there, im afraid of how much time she'll have before she finally dies."
chan stiffened at the thought of another group going out to save a group that had been lost for 2 months. what if the same thing were to happen and repeat? he couldn't let that happen. he wouldn't let that happen again.
"im not letting the same thing happen again nayeon, if we really want to make this a group effort, we need a good plan." he played with his ring as he looked at nayeon's weary expression.
"i couldn't agree more. but i assure you this time, the same mistakes won't happen again." she then stood up, the chair squeaking under her.
"once you set up the team meeting, i'll be there." she said beginning to walk away.
nayeon always was so presumptuous on just showing up when the times right. she has a knack for it though, and its worked many times in the past.
"bold of you to say it was the group's mistakes that got them captured." chan had commented.
"if they didn't make any mistakes those few months ago, they would be in this room as we speak." she retaliated.
and chan couldn't say anything after that.
