nabi sat in the passenger's seat of minho's car as he drove to the office. she had headphones on and drowned her and her thoughts within the music.
she knew of the existence of the withdrawal society, but she was never allowed in the meetings or even where they took place. she was only ever allowed in chan's office, which was still very luxurious and nice.
minho would always tell her that she would have to wait till she was older to really know what the society does. hell nabi doesn't even know of the bloodwork society. she doesn't know how much of an impact it has on her or felix.
minho and felix had always planned to tell her one day. but there was never a right time yet to tell her. they planned on telling her when she would age rapidly again, but even then they felt they would still hold back on the subject.
i mean how else are you supposed to tell a little girl that her uncle could be missing and dead and you can't even recover the body?
that thought alone shattered both minho and felix's hearts.
today, since felix had school he had closed the bar, which left nabi with minho. minho had work so he has no choice but to take her with him.
minho worked a regular office job, as a news journalist. ironic seeing as he does almost the exact for withdrawal. that's most likely why he is so good at his job.
as they approached closer to the office, an idea stuck in nabi's head.
nabi was made aware of a small training room in the withdrawal office. hongjoong had mentioned it to her before and said people would train in there if they wanted to keep up with their endurance.
maybe she actually WANTED to train.
or she just wants to find info about jisung. that's probably the mostly likely reason.
when they finally arrived, minho parked the car in the parking lot turning the steering wheel. then he put the car in park. nabi unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car with minho mimicking the same thing.
as they both walked up to the office building, minho opened the door for nabi and she walked in first. at the front desk there was a woman sat there. nabi didn't recognize her, but she can only assume that she was a worker for the office.
minho walked to the front desk and the woman looked up from the computer she was typing on. she looked up at him and smiled.
"minho! sorry i was working on my analysis paper. you know how much work has been left for me since jinyoung left." she adjusted herself on her rolling chair to drive her attention to minho fully. then her eyes laced onto nabi's who stood awkwardly behind minho.
