Hello everyone! I imagine this would be a surprise to many readers, especially since the last update of this book would have been 3 years ago.

Honestly, I only ever wondered about this book in passing, particularly tonight, where curiosity got the best of me and I eventually checked out my account just for fun, only for me to be bombarded with messages asking me to continue the story.

I really don't have any excuse for not picking up on the story, other than the fact that I grew up. I was 13 years old, writing stories about a fandom that I had considered the peak of literature. It was also the pandemic, and I was irresponsible enough to throw myself into writing, consuming media, and procrastinating my studies, which led to me failing a subject. The next year rolled around, school started, and I decided to actually focus on my grades.

Although I don't remember much of the actual story that I had planned out (I lost the notebook with the plot), I do remember thinking that writing the story became more of a chore rather than it being something out of passion. Couple that with the fact that we were only halfway through the story (there would still be an act IV), and it all went downhill from there.

I'm ashamed to face you all right now, knowing that I could have at least posted updates, posts, or replied to comments, but I suppose I really couldn't blame my younger self— life just happens, we move on. And I just happened to move on from this story.

But! I know a lot of people really want an explanation, SOMETHING to answer their questions about the plotholes of this story (which, I admit, are a LOT. I did NOT plan this at all.)

So here's a gist of the story (from what I could remember 3 years ago when I first outlined the plot.) I can't answer anything TOO specific if any of you do have questions, but I believe that's at least a small positive. Anyone can fill the gaps with their creative interpretations of what they believe could have tied things together.

"Obsession Rating"
- These were the percentages found in the 'Act' chapters, where they would show their liking/trust towards Philip. They actually served no purpose (I thought they were cool) and was supposed to be a small easter egg to show what each character felt about our protagonist considering how there were so much crammed into the story. Looking back, it would have been better to make it more of an easter egg, but I believe it made the story at least a little bit unique.

"Act 3 and 4"
- This is where my memory becomes a bit fuzzy, but I'll include a snippet of the draft I had found (and unfinished) of the supposed next chapter of the story.

Back when Philip's body was laying in a cold hospital bed whose mattress was much too thin for it to be called comfy, Philip's consciousness was busy being stuck in his own mind.

Of course, consciousness is supposed to stay in the mind. If it were to jump out of the brain, it would be this amalgamation of feelings and logic that no human brain could comprehend. Yet, it was stuck in the brain, using Philip's body as a vessel. At least, that's how it was supposed to work.

Yes, Philip's consciousness was in his mind as it usually was. Yes, his consciousness wasn't a horrible, brain-melting amalgamation that escaped his brain. Yes, the hospital should buy new mattresses.

And yes, Philip was imprisoned by his own consciousness.

It was strange for him to be trapped by his own body. Maybe that was his body's way of punishing him for pushing the limits with his flesh, or perhaps a consequence for managing to survive a bullet through the forehead. It was a foreign feeling— much more foreign than the sudden rush of energy he had gotten when he was running from Martial at the airport, or running from Martial through the plaza and towards the grassy field. Maybe it was a consequence for running from Martial.
