"Oooh is that your boyfriend?" Joey remarks, smirking at Agnus, who was sitting knees to chest covering her phone. Agnus looks up and and grimaces at Joey. "Leave her alone." Weecha says jokingly at Joey. "I've never seen her so glued to her phone." Joey replied. "She's 14 now, before you know it we'll be planning a quinceañera for Ms Keen here." Weecha said as she put away some dishes from the dishwasher to the cabinet. Joey flipped through some magazines on the table. "Marcus Longo, heart throb or heart attack?" She read the headlines. "They still make teen magazines like this huh?" She says. "I'm not having a quinceañera Weecha." Agnus said. "And why is that?" Weecha asks, putting her hands on her hips, still holding the dish rag. "I rather a Sweet 16." She says with a smile. "Why not have both?" Joey asks closing the magazine in front of her. Agnus shrugs as she continues to scroll through her phone. "Invite your boyfriend to both." Joey smiles. Agnus gets up and walks to the bedroom in the trailer and closes the door. "Teens, huh." Joey says to Weecha. Weecha shakes her head at Joey. "I'll be her best friend one day." Joey says smiling. "Not everyone has a dry a humor as you Joe." Weecha says, getting back to the dishes. "Let me help. I have to pull some sort of weight around here before Red figures I'm useless." Joey gets up and runs the water.
"CUT!" Another shout from the director.

Sami runs out of the trailer's bedroom and hugs Beck. Diany and Beck both tickle her off, "good job kid." Diany says. Sami smiles and runs off set to her mom. James walks on set and puts his hat down on the trailer table. He sits in the booth and sighs. "Joey's character reminds me of Luli Zheng. Red's old partner. Season 1." Beck turns to look at him. "We filming or?" James raises his hand "oh no, I just like to sit on set sometimes. I like to feel like Red. He enjoys trouble, so do I." An almost devilish smile creeps upon James' face. Beck smiles back at him. She thinks about Luli's old role in the blacklist. She remembers how Red flirted with her and they even kissed. Beck shook her head and thought "as if." "You okay?" James asked, watching Beck shake her head. "Yeah?" She replies, coming back from her thoughts. "You were just shaking your head a bit." He said, sitting back in his chair. "Just thinking, sorry." She says. "Aha, yes. I do that far too much some days." James responds.
Diany walks off set with a smile. "I need some fooood!" She shouts walking towards the catering area. "I could use a drink." Spader says to himself as he groans a bit. "I could get you something?" Beck quickly sprouts up. "Oh no, I really shouldn't." James says readjusting his positioning in his seat.

"Clear set please!" One of the producers call. Both Beck and James head off to sit in their set chairs.
Beck puts in some AirPods and connects them to her phone. She begins listening to jazz and closes her eyes. James cocks his head towards Beck and glances at her. "What's playing?" He asks, just looking at her. Beck removes one pod and goes "Jaco." "Wacko." James responds. Beck smiles and goes "Jaco Pastorius. Jazz bassist." "Jazz." James says. His voice, deep and smooth, bellows in Beck's ears. She felt a tingle lining her jaw. "I enjoy the sounds of Miles Davis." James continues to speak. "Sometimes I play it so loud, I just want to be immersed in the music. Honestly you should try it."
"I used to be a musician, I know how it feels." Beck smiles. "What instrument?" James asks. "Upright bass....and my throat." She smirks. James eyes twinkle a bit, he wasn't expecting that response. He looks down at her hands. "I wouldn't pick you for a bassist." He continues with, "It's in the hands." He lifts up his hands in comparison to hers. He puckers his lips and leans back in his chair. "So you sing." He declares. "I do." Beck says. "Lady Day is one of my favorites." James says, his head still tilted like an interested dog. Beck chuckles a bit, takes a breath in and let's out a small tune, "Got the moon above me." She pauses and James looks at her for more. "But no one to love me. Lover man, oh, where can you be." She sings softly smiling at him. "I've heard it said that the thrill of romance can be like a heavenly dream." James sings back. "She has such a beautiful voice you know." He says putting his glasses on and looking back at Beck. "Yeah, Billie Holiday was amazing." She smiles at him and subconsciously licks her lips again. She slowly pulls her other airpod out and put her phone away. James stands up and puts his hat on his chair where he sat. "I'm off to call Leslie." He smiles and walks outside. Beck sat there, feeling emptier than ever for the moment. She thought they shared a small spark but he leaves to call his girlfriend. "Hmph." She muffles as she leans back in her chair, taking her AirPods out again and blasting jazz into her ears.

After work, Rebecca arrives back home in her NYC apartment. She lived on Cliff St in New York in a modern times apartment complex. She walked through the bright foyer and went straight for the elevator, headed up to the 2nd floor.
Beck was lucky enough to live in such a luxurious complex in New York but only by the skin of her teeth. She worked endlessly in the corporate world for 3 years, making enough in a 401k to quit and take it all out at once. She took those funds and moved to New York City from Mahopac. She spent her funds on a few acting classes and the rest on the down payment on the apartment. She had a few months rent lined up but if her part in The Blacklist doesn't provide her with more role opportunities, then she'll likely have to move back home with her parents.
She entered her dark apartment, she kept dark colored walls for the times when she needed quiet. She felt brighter colors were too loud at times. She turned a few lights on around the apartment, giving it some light but still keeping the apartment dim. She threw herself onto her bed and turned on her TV. She looked up at the wall mounted entertainment and sighed. Commercials on commercials flooded the screen as she lowered the volume of the TV. It was too much nonsense to drown out her feelings. She opened up her MacBook and opened up iMessage. She opened a new text to Gina and then closed it. She stared at her desktop for a moment and closed her MacBook. She felt unmotivated to do anything. She wished for the past year to meet James Spader and to connect with him but he seems to brush her off. She stares up at her ceiling and begins talking to herself. "I know he's dating Leslie but it's just that. Just dating. I mean if he loved her he would've married her right? But he can have any woman. I don't know. What can I do to make him love me?"
Beck grabbed her MacBook again and began searching "manifesting relationships" online until she felt guilty and upset. "Am I a sociopath..." she said out loud after an entire Google search. She closed the MacBook again, now putting it on her desk, away from the bed. She lied back in bed and just observed her bedroom for the moment. She watched as the setting sun peaked from the tiny holes in her curtain and danced on the wall. Her eyes filled with tears for a moment and then subsided.
Just the one look he gave her, when they bonded over Music, sent her absolutely filled with chills. And it took one second to take it all away again. Beck fell asleep...
