Beth's eyes fluttered open as she stretched. She still laid naked in James' bed. James was still asleep, rolled over to one side and almost snoring. She grabbed looked around for a clock but didn't notice one on her side of the bed. She leaned over James gently to see if he has one.

8:30

"Shit." Beck blurted out as she pushed the blanket off her. She looked around the room in a panic for her under garments as James was startled away. "What's going on?" He asked in his sleepy voice. He yawned loudly. "It's 8:30. We're going to be late. Filming were starts at n-" "One o'clock." James interrupted her. Beck paused and stared at him. "Jon called me hours ago and said he had something come up and that he couldn't get to the studio until one, so no one has to be there until then." He explained to her, still clearly exhausted from last night. "Didn't he call you?" He asked. Beck looked around for her phone and realized she had left it on the table they sat at yesterday. She quickly skipped to the table to grab it seeing 3 missed called from the director, one from Diany & a few texts from Diany and Gina. "Fuck." She let slip out. James laid his head back on the pillow and said "what's the matter?"
"Jon called a bunch and Diany did too. He told her to tell me about the delay I think." She said scrolling through her messages. "Well no need to rush up, I'm surely not a morning person by any means so." James said closing his eyes. Beck stayed glued to her phone for a moment responding to her texts and claiming to listened to the voicemail when she woke up and instantly fell back to sleep.
She then went to Gina's texts, who was spamming her since she didn't say her usual good nights to her. "I think I have a reasonable excuse this time." Beck texted Gina back.
"Nothing is reasonable to me, bitch. Fess up!" Gina joked in her texts.
"Bitch I fell asleep with James." Beck responded.
"BWAHAHA! Yeah and you fucked him too right?" Gina texted back, believing that Beck was joking with her.
"I FUCKEN DID." Beck texted back quickly.
"Pics or it didn't happen." Gina sent back.
Beck looked around, seeing that James was still lying down, eyes closed trying to sleep. She took a quick photo of him without appearing too obvious and sent it to Gina.
"No fucking shot." Gina said back.
Beck didn't reply as she was climbing back into bed with him. He grumbled as he rolls over facing Beck. She curled up into his arms and closed her eyes, half expecting mf wake up in her own bed as if this all was a dream. She listened to him breathe for a bit before saying, "not to keep you up or anything, but now that I'm awake, I can't go back to sleep..." she slowly smiled as she looked up at James who was appeared tired and grumpy but in the cutest way. "I can order us some breakfast." She said, sitting up and grabbing her phone for food delivery. "Nonsense, I don't do that. Don't need everyone know where I live now." He said pulling the blankets off him slowly and yawning. "I'll cook breakfast." He said standing up and looking around for a pair of boxers. Beck looked up at him in slight awe. "I love to cook, you'll see." He said smiling over at her and bending down to grab his boxers from the floor. He put them on and bent over to grab his clothes he took off last night muttering "the clean up is never as fun as the act." He chuckled to himself.

Beck and James sat quietly eating breakfast together in his dining room. He ate with his eyes focused on his food as he tapped a rhythm with his hand into the table repeatedly. Beck smirked as he ate, thinking he was the most special man in the universe. While he was cooking she had noticed a few interesting things about his place. He had no TVs in his apartment, but he did have a record player and a few older model radios. He did have a few bookcases though completely filled with books. She did notice one book opened on a side table by a chair in the living room. "James?" She asked quietly. He looked up from his food and smiled, "yes?" "What book ya reading?" She asked pointing to the open book. "Ah," James stood up and wiped his mouth with a napkin. He went and grabbed the book and brought it to the table. "My favorite book, 'Up in the Old Hotel' by Joseph Mitchell. It's brilliant, I've read it 3 times and I find out something new each time." He smiled as he spoke about it, rummaging through the pages. "I could get you a copy, I think you would enjoy it." James said with his mouth full of eggs and excitement in his eyes.
Beck smiled with gratification and admired James' excitement. She thought of how she spent years loving him as a fan and from a far and believing he was this sexualized being and even though he was to a degree, she enjoyed how a simple book could bring him joy like a kid in a candy shop.
