Chapter 10 Dark and Light

I felt I was in clouds. Who would have guess the ground felt comfy. I yawn opening my eye and sit up I notice I was in bed....What wait bed?!
I looked around and saw it was a big room. It was a bit fancy. I stood up and walked around looking at the room it had 3 closets, a giant bed, a desk, a night stand, one window without curtains so the light from outside was seeping through.
The room also had two doors one on the left and one on the right of the room. "I guess you like your room?" a voice was heard behind me. I turned around to face a man he looked like Jack but his hair was more of a dirty blonde, but he had the same face.
" My name is Derek prince of the light kingdom."
" Can you please tell me why I'm here and not under the tree I fell a sleep?" I tried to be calm. " well, I was going back to the light kingdom when I saw someone sleeping under a tree, I can let a lady sleep on the cold hard ground so I brought you here."
I smiled " thank you for helping me but I have to go now" I started to walk out of the room. " where are you going to go?"
" To the dar-" I stopped. He is right, I'm still a bit scared of Jack right now and I don't know how to even go back.
"You can stay here if you don't have anywhere to go"
I had no choice I didn't even know where to go. I would only get lost if I left this place. " ok I'll stay" I smiled.

I smiled as I looked at the closet full of gowns. Derek told me we where going to attended a ball today.
I was happy to meet other people. I found a light blue gown with a white ribbon and took it out of the closet.
I set it gently on a chair and laid on the bed.
I was tired, I haven't slept because I keep thinking of Jack. It's been two weeks since I ran away and stayed at the light kingdom.
For som reason I really wanted to see him. I sighed as I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
