Chapter 11 The Ball

Jack P.O.V
I sighed frowning. I was getting ready for the ball I was invited to, but I didn't want to go.

Where could Lia have gone to? I asked myself. I have been looking for her for hours and haven't found her. "JACK!!!" I heard someone calling my name. I ran to the door only to see my twin brother. "what do you want Derek?" I asked harshly

"Tsk. is that anyway you should treat your twin?"

I glared at my annoying twin. "what. do. you. want.?" I said through gritted teeth.

" Father told me to give you a invitation to our birthday ball, oh and bring a date" Derek gave me a envelope and left.

I frowned when he said date Lia is not here who should I bring? I asked myself as I went to my study.

Derek P.O.V
I Left after I gave Jack the invitation, not wanting to stay in that place more than I had to. " your majesty the carriage won't go through the forest do order for another carriage to come so you won't have to walk through the forest?"
I looked at the guard talking to me.
"no need I can walk to the carriage"

While walking through the forest I saw the moonlight shine on a particular spot. As I got closer to that spot I saw a maiden sleeping under a tree. "Wow" is all I said.

I touched her cheek only to be met by soft skin. smiling I picked her up
bride style carrying her to my carriage.

"Don't worry my princess, I will take care of you"

Jack P.O.V
I keep thinking who I will take to the ball today. I saw on of my maids what was her name? Amy? Amanda? No um it was....Anna "Anna!" I called out to her.

" yes your majesty?" She walked to me. "um.... I wanted to tell you to get ready I'm taking you to a ball" I told her emotionless.

"Y-Yes your majesty" she blushed and ran to her room. I brought her a long black gown to her room and told her to get ready.

The only thought I had on my mind was 'where are you lian?'

Lia P.O.V
I woke up to someone knocking on my door " lia time to go to the ball" I heard Derek's voice from the other side of the door. "coming" I quickly changed into the light blue gown and went outside the room.

Derek was staring at me and I felt me cheeks heat up. "um.....Derek?" He smiled and grabbed my hand. " are you ready?" I nodded

I smiles and looked at the stairs leading to the ballroom.

I felt everyone's eyes looking at me and Derek.

The music started to play and I was meeting many people, everyone telling Derek happy birthday and asking for his twin.

I smiled when I saw someone. "Jack!" Derek called out to him. When Jack saw us he looked angry. He got closer to us and I saw he was with another girl, one of the maids to be exact. " hi Derek, who is the girl your with?" he asked with a cold tone in his voice.
"This is Lia, my date, who are you with?"
The next words broke my heart into millions of pieces.

" This is Anna my girlfriend"
