The rest next weeks were a bit of a rush.

All the boys went on their dates now and then.

HotShot came from Brooklyn and spent some time with Ike.

Davey, Jack and Crutchie got officially together.

And they started an almost forgotten project from Medda back up.

Their summer musical.

Tuck Everlasting. (Chapter 10)

The rehearsals were a mess but by the time it had its premiere everyone was ready for it.

Oscar, Morris, Wiesel, Davey, Sarah, Medda and Hannah sat on the middle part of the first row ready to let it all happen.

Backstage it was pure chaos most the boys were running around only half dressed. The girls and two or three of the boys were all already finished and ready for the show.

"Guys places, show starts in five minutes" The stage manager called.

This sent more panic trough the boys.

Race quickly pulled his shirt over his head before fixing his hair a bit.

"You look amazing" Spot gave Race a quick kiss on his cheek.

"You look much better" Race said before putting on his dancing shoes.

"What have you done all that time" Spot questions, Race had locked himself in his dressingroom for some time before.

"Trying not to have a panic attack" Race mumbled finish putting on his second shoe.

"You've got nothing to worry about" Spot said helping Race up from the ground.

Albert had already found his way to the side of the stage and Race and Spot joined next to him. They held each other close for a moment before the music started playing and Crutchie, Albert, Katherine and Jack came on stage.

The rest of the first act went on perfect and before they knew it they were by partner in crime. Crutchie danced pretty well with his crutch and all the boys had just a lot of fun.

Then the end of the first act was there. After the curtain closed everyone hugged each other tightly in one big group hug.

The second act went also almost perfect. There were a few small mistakes only they noticed but when the bows came they got a standing ovation.

The next day they did also two shows.

The day after that Crutchie came up to Race.

"Hey Racer, my leg is hurting too bad today so it's not going to work" He told the younger boy.

"Wait so you mean"

"Yep you're on as Jesse for today" Crutchie smiled.

Race's eyes widened.

He was ready for it, he had all the preparation needed but was his mind ready for it. He didn't know.

In the next two hours he ran through everything one more time. His lines, the dances, his cues, name it all. And then the first show of the day came.

Race sat in his dressing room fidgeting with the sleeve of his costume while he was trying to not have a panic attack when he felt a hand grab his arm.

"You got this" Jack kneeled down in front of him.

"What if I mess up" Race asked, looking at the ground.

"Then so it be, even the biggest broadway actors make mistakes sometimes" Jack said, making Race look in his eyes before pulling him in a hug.

"You're really a weird sort of dad figure sometimes" Race giggled softly.

"Come we need to go on in a few minutes" Jack said ignoring Race's comment. Race giggled more but followed Jack out the dressing room.

Albert and Spot stood already at the side of the stage waiting for him.

"Ready to kill it" Albert asked.

"Always with you two by my side" Race kissed both of them.

And before he knew it the music started and so the show.
