❝I like your attitude, Eloise Clark.❞

"You're so smiley lately. Did something good happen?" Brahms grinned and sipped from his coffee cup.
"No, I just got some sleep. That's all," Terrence claimed as he feigned to study the writings on his clipboard.
Brahms clicked his tongue and grabbed the clipboard from his hands.
"Oh yeah? Then why do you keep glancing at your phone? That's very unprofessional, Nurse Situ."
"Oh, we're doing this? What if I tell you that I noticed that you always seem to involve yourself with the filming that's going on?" Terrence crossed his arms against his chest as he wore a smug face.
"You like one of the producers? Maybe it's the girl with red hair who always wore a beret? She looked like your type."
Brahms pursed his lips as he looked Terrence directly in the eye. On the other hand, Terrence appeared unfazed and snatched the clipboard away from Brahms.
Brahms rubbed his own face after Terrence left him at the cafeteria. Was he really too obvious? Was he too clingy? However, he has no idea who was the beret girl that Terrence was referring to.
"Clingy? When did I ever be clingy?" Brahms let out a nervous laugh as placed his coffee cup on the table.
When did he ever be clingy? Maybe not his frequent "good mornings" when he sees Eloise. It's certainly not the awkward waves when she catches him looking at her.
Brahms started reflecting on his behavior. What if he did something that made Eloise uncomfortable? What if she slowly cuts him off from her life?

"Ten-minute break guys!" Eloise immediately rushed out of the area to find a bathroom. She kept her pee in the whole day as she was too preoccupied doing the tasks she was told to do.
She came out of her stall to wash her hands. Her brown eyes shifted from her own reflection to the reflection next to her. She let out a small gasp as she realized who was the person who was breathing the same air as her's.
"Don't waste water." She pointed to the running faucet that Eloise left open. She turned the faucet off with trembling hands.
"I'm really surprised with your performance."
"Performance?"
"Most of the interns quit because the job was too much for them to handle. But look at you." A smile slowly formed on Eloise's face. Was she getting a compliment from Director Celine Love? Maybe she was behind her sleep and she was only hallucinating. But her voice and her figure were so real.
"You interns might think that you're wasting your time by running errands and getting pushed around by the superiors."
"No, I definitely do not think that. I worked so hard to be here. I admit that this job is exhausting, but I think it's too precious for me to give up."
"Most of the producers, writers, and other crew members in my team are mostly interns that joined me at least once. I never hire people that I don't trust. I like your attitude, Eloise Clark."
She walked out of the restroom and never looked back. Eloise's whole body suddenly felt cold. Her hands were covered in sweat and her legs felt like it was made out of straws. Director Love never once looked at her all throughout her internship. But Eloise was recognized by her.
Eloise stomped her feet in excitement and covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming.
"That did not just happen," She softly chanted. She kept repeating the same words as she exited the restroom. Her hands completely covered her face, obstructing her eyesight. She kept walking until she bumped into someone that she doesn't care about because all she can think of is that Celine Love talked to her. She acknowledged her presence. Her name came out of her mouth.
"Eloise! Are you okay?" The person gently removed her hands that covered her face.
"Miles!" She wasted no time and encircled her arms on his neck.
She hugged him.
Miles wanted to hug her back so badly. But his muscles felt like it was frozen. He pushed himself to lift up his arms and place them on her back, but he couldn't. The shock he was feeling was too strong that it controlled his whole body. Before he could hug her, she had already unattached herself from him.
"Guess what happened!" Miles didn't respond to her statement as the shock transferred to his eyes. He doesn't even know where to look.
"Miles." Eloise tapped his arm to grab his attention. His eyes shifted back to her and raised his eyebrows as a signal for her to continue.
"So the director of the documentary we were walking on is my idol and also the love of my life. So I was in the restroom and I saw her. She talked to me! She said she liked my attitude. I'm so happy, Miles!" She said all of that in one breath.
"Really happy for you Eloise," Miles said and patted her shoulder.
She gave him one hug. One hug. She gave him a meaningless hug, and he fell apart.
