Warren's POV
"Manang, take care of the kids. I'll follow Arya" I said at sumakay sa sasakyan ko
"Daddy, sama!"
"I will come back with Mommy, I promise" I said and kissed their cheeks
Sinundan ko si Arya dahil alam kong sa mansion nila sya didiretso
Pagkarating ko, nakapark ang sasakyan nya sa mansion nila, pinapasok nila ako agad.
"Mam! Mam Arya! Buksan niyo po ang pinto"
"What the fuck is happening?" I asked pagka-akyat ko sa kwarto niya
"Si Mam Arya po, umuwi na umiiyak tapos nag-lock po ng pintuan"
"Kinakabahan po kami, binalaan po kasi kami ni Mam Xyreen na huwag hahayaan si Mam Arya na maglock"
"Why is that?"
"Depress po si Mam Arya, simula nung nanganak daw po siya sa kambal"
"Fuck! Get me the keys to her room and bathroom"
"Ito po, sir" sabi nung isang maid nila na tumatakbo papunta sa amin
I quickly unlock her room door and straight to her bathroom.
"Tangina!"
I saw her lying on the floor unconscious and her arm is full of blood
"Fuck! Ipahanda niyo ang sasakyan" I ordered at nagtakbuhan sila palabas. "Arya! Arya! Please baby, wake up, please baby" I said almsost crying
What have I done?
I carried her at lumabas ng kwarto, isinakay ko sya agad sa sasakyan and I stayed with her in the backseat
"Pakibilisan! She's fucking losing lots of blood" I said
Pagkarating sa ospital, inihiga agad sya sa stretcher and dinala sa operating room
"Please do everything to save my wife" I pleaded like my lifeline depends on her
That's true tho, mamamatay ako kapag nawala si Arya ulit sa akin
I can't afford losing her twice.
Once is enough, and I will do everything to be with her again this time.
"Yes, sir, gagawin po namin lahat ng makakaya namin" the nurse said and entered the operating room
I even called Rain, wala akong ibang matawagan.
Nanghihina ako na makitang ganoon ang nangyayari kay Tine
"Kuya, what happened?" She asked when she arrived. "Pinasamahan ko kay Valerie and Axel yung kambal sa bahay niyo"
"I don't know, ganoon ko pala siya nasaktan. Tangina, my wife tried taking her own life just because she doesn't feel loved"
She hugged me and even tried to comfort me
"I should have explained noon palang. Dapat noong nakapasa sya sa boards sinabi ko na agad eh, tangina kasalanan ko lahat ito! She's been depressed and our kids didn't even know that. Ano bang malay nila sa depression. Kapag nawalan sila ng nanay, kasalanan ko, because it's all because of me, nangyayari yan sa kanya dahil sa akin"
"I want to console you, pero kasi, depression is such a big deal, lalo pa walang syang nasasandalan, wala syang nasasabihan while she's having it. It's supposed to be you kasi asawa ka nya, hindi ko masisisi si Arya, kasi nanay din ako, I also suffered from PPD. Pero unlike Arya, may nasasandalan ako, yung asawa ko, that was supposed to be your role in her life habang minamaliit nya ang sarili niya, dapat ipinagmamalaki mo siya. No one did that to Arya while she was having it, hanggang sa natuto nalang sya magkimkim, and ngayon hindi niya na kinaya. Arya is strong, she will fight this, pero sana kapag naging maayos sya, be the husband she will always need. I heard from Xyreen, minsan naririnig niya daw si Arya na nagsasabi na susunod nalang siya kila Tito Lyndon kapag nakilala mo na ang mga bata, iiwanan na niya sila sayo. Naaawa ako sa mga bata, at kay Arya, because she developed that kind of mindset because of her demons, and no one even tried to console her or be with her or even fight with her"
"I'm so stupid! I'm fucking stupid!"
While waiting for the doctor to come out, nag-ring ang phone ko.
"Answer it muna" Rain said
I answered the phone and lumayo muna sa may operating. I cleared my throat before speaking up
(Daddy?) It's Rafael
"Anak, how are you there? Andiyan si Ate Valerie and Kuya Axel?"
(Yes, Daddy. They are playing with us, because they missed us daw po. Are you with Mommy?)
(Daddy, why is Mommy crying?)
"Yes, Daddy's with Mommy na, pero hindi muna kami makakabalik today, kasi may sugat si Mommy, she needs to be treated. You understand Daddy, right?"
(Yes, Daddy. We miss Mommy already)
I can even see them pouting right now while having a sad face.
(We love Mommy, is she mad at us? Are we being makulit na?)
"No, baby girl. Mommy loves you so much. Once Mommy and Daddy are home, let's show Mommy that we love her, ok?"
(Yes, Daddy)
"Daddy will hang up na, kasi Mommy might need Daddy" I said. "I love you, anak"
(We love you and Mommy too, tell her that)
"I will" I said
Binaba ko na ang tawag, and sakto namang labas ng doctor
"Are you the relatives?"
"I'm Arya's husband, doc" I said. "How is my wife?" I asked
"She lost a lot of blood, pero naagapan naman, good thing we have her blood type sa blood bags dito sa hospital. Mabuti rin at naisugod siya agad, kasi kung hindi, we might lose her. She's stable now, ililipat nalang siya sa ICU for monitoring, may natamaan kasing ugat sa kanya, pero naagapan naman namin, pero we still need to monitor her for a week in the ICU bago sya ilipat sa private room"
"Thanks, doc"
"You can visit her now" he said and leave us
Dumiretso kami sa ICU and pinasuot ako ng nurse ng hospital gown and even face mask bago ako pumasok
I saw my gorgeous wife peacefully sleeping.
I sit on the chair next to her bed and looked at her
"Baby, why did you do this to yourself? Paano kami ng mga anak natin kapag nawala ka? You don't know how much I love you, Tine. Ever since I laid my eyes on you when you were 13, ikaw nalang ang babaeng kinabaliwan ko at babaeng minahal ko hanggang ngayon. The girl that we were talking about that time was Clarisse. I'm sorry for not being by your side while you were struggling in your pregnancy and your studies, for not being with you while you were giving birth to our twins, for not being able to hold your hand while you're delivering our angels. I'm sorry, me and the kids loves you so much, huwag mo namang isiping walang nagmamahal sayo, kasi nandito kaming pamilya mo, sobrang nagmamahal sayo. Baby, please get well, I promise to make it up to you once ok ka na, papakasalan pa ulit kita sa simbahan eh, we will do your dream wedding, plano ko na iyon eh. Huwag mo naman kaming sukuan oh, please wake up and magpagaling ka, the twins are so worried"
"Sir, tapos na po ang ICU visiting hours po"
"Pagaling ka, I'll come back kapag open na ulit ang visiting hours. I love you so much, baby" I said and lightly kissed her lips.
Lumabas na ako at umupo sa mga bench sa labas ng ICU.
