'Oh girl, it's you that I lie with
As the atom bomb locks in
Oh, it's you I watch TV with
As the world, as the world caves in'

3rd person pov:

Heavy breathing filled the hot thick air as footsteps echoed in the young girl's ear drums. The blonde tripped over as fear and adrenaline fuel her body as her legs and hands began to shake. She felt hot breathe over her shoulder. Her face paled as she felt a thick drull fall onto her shoulder the girl's eyes widened as she slowly looked up to see a huge demon staring straight down at her with pure hunger. Hot streams of tears fell from the blonde's face as she cried and pleaded for the demon's mercy but was left with a sharp pain in her chest, the girl looked down as she felt the blood from her body drain and her skin paled into a grey colour, she slowly closed her eyes the last thing lingering in her mind was seeing her terrified reflection in the demons mask.

Y/N's body sholted forward as her breathing became uneven and heavy, her blue eyes were glossy with tears threatening to fall down her red face. She ripped her duvet from her body feeling suffocated as she felt the white sheets clinging onto her body as sweat was dripping from her body. The girl roughly put her hands to her eyes rubbing her tired eyes. She then saw a figure jump from his bed across a few bed down from hers panting heavily. "no...no...no...no" The figure repeated muttering under his breathe as he looked over to see Y/N sitting up from her bed with the same horrified expression.

"Bad dream?" The blonde asked her brother, the boy nodded rubbing his hand through his hair.

"It was so real...I thought.. I thought I lost you" The boy said with tears in his blue eyes. The girl sighed standing up from her bed to walk over to Norman's bed she gently sat on top of the duvet and opened her arms for her brother to fall into, she let him cry into her shoulder leaving wet blotches on her top but she didn't mind and embraced her brother in a warm hug.

"It's ok, we'll be fine I Promise" Y/N whispered, Norman sat up and weakly smiled wiping his tears away.

"I hope so, truth be told I'm terrified. Our entire existence is a lie" Norman said holding his sister's hands gently "Everything we thought we knew, everything we've done was just some twisted illusion" He whispered a single tear rolling down his chin.

"Our existence and life may have come from an evil plan and we may have been lied and deceive but- our memories are priceless and the people we love are our family no one can take that away from us brother. I'm scared as hell but I want to live Norman I want to escape here with everyone and I don't think we can do it with just us three" Y/N said trailing off as she let her blue eyes gaze on the sleeping raven boy a few beds over. Norman followed her gaze and his expression softened knowing how his sister cared for her boy.

"You want to tell Ray don't you?" He asked already knowing the answer. The girl didn't keep her eyes of Ray she smiled softly seeing how peaceful he looked while asleep and let her mind wander to what we may dream of.

"I think he has a right to know. He's logical and will be a huge help plus...I feel bad about lying to him he's always been there for me. Him and I have never kept secrets from each other" Y/N admitted growing red when she noticed Norman's small grin before he could say anything Y/N held up her finger to the boy.

"Don't even start dork" She said standing up from his bed. Norman chuckled lightly and nestled back into his bed.

"You going to be ok?" Y/N asked, Norman nodded and gave her a small smile.

"Thank you little sister" Y/N rolled her eyes playfully.

"Your older by 12 minutes its not that much of a difference" Y/N said starting to walk back to her bed Norman just smiled at his twin sister.

"Good night" Y/N said snuggling into her duvet and closing her eyes but as she layed down in her bed staring at the darkness under her eyelids she couldn't stop thinking that none of it was real, it was all an illusion the only thing she knew was truly real was her friendships and memories with the people she grew up with. She had to save them, had to protect them. She had to escape with everyone...
