'The only time I ever see her
Is when she's behind me in the mirror
Even from a distance I can hear her
Try to listen, but her whispers make my ears hurt'

3rd person pov:

Ray looked down at his shaking hands, he had ran out of the pills that Anna had given him a month ago and in the meanwhile he had been experiencing the same agonising hallucinations of his precious Y/n. Sometimes the image of Y/n brought him comfort as he felt the faint touch of her hands in his and the soft touch of her lips pressed against his cheek. He knew he was loosing his mind, that she was gone and never coming back, but the hallucinations were so real it was like she was right there with him. But then there were the hallucinations that embodied his darkest thoughts, she would hear the venom laced in her voice as she spoke.

"You are the reason I am dead"

"You should of killed yourself in that fire"

"You promised me I would be ok!"

Those were the moments that he wished he could erase his memories of her; her every words, her every detail of her appearance, her voice. He wanted the moments he shared with her to be burned to ash. His face was scratched up as he rocked back and fourth in a tight little ball on his own on top of a cliff side not too far from where him and the other escaped Grace Field children hid in the B06-32 bunker where they had found a adult called Yuugo there first meeting with him was nothing but chaos as he threatened to kill every last one of them. It was recently that they had joined forces with the children from Goldy Pond- a secret hunting ground for demons. It was there that Yuugo was reunited with Lucas his oldest friend who he grew up with in the Glory Bell Orphanage. They had thought the other was dead for 13 years.

Ray hoped that the same thing would happen for him and Y/n but he knew the odds of ever seeing his lost love again was slim. He missed her more than all the stars in the night sky, he often found himself crying out her name in his sleep. He sat by the cliff looking down at the ground below he thought about jumping multiple of times but his promise to Emma was something he wanted to keep.

"Don't tell me I'm going to have to stop you from killing yourself again am I?" The sweetly spoken Emma said making her presence known to her best friend. The two had gotten rather close over the months, they relied on each other heavily as there group of four was cut in half in a blink of an eye. Only the pair on the cliff understood each others pain and therefore they made a pact to be honest with each other; no lies, no secrets what ever one of them was going through they told the other.

"I made a promise to you that I wouldn't try that again Em, and right now we're all each others got"  The boy mumbled removing his hands away from his face. He looked behind him and saw the ginger give him a sympathetic look he sighed looking up to the stars above them.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Emma asked cautiously approaching the raven. Emma didn't know how to really talk about his hallucinations she had spoken to Anna about it before and she told her it may be schizophrenia yet the ginger found that too hard to swallow.

"A week ago" He said rubbing his face tiredly, he just wanted one night of peace he wanted to sleep without being woken up by haunted nightmares of Y/n.

"They're spacing out that's good" She tried to reinsure the broken boy putting a gentle hand on his back to sooth him the best she could. She knew his pain all too well as she too was haunted by her lost love.

"How do we do this?" He asked not knowing how to carry on without the twins by his side. His best friend Norman stabilized him he made him feel understood as the white haired boy listened to the boy calmly no judgment in his eyes. It had always been the four top scorers against the world. But now Emma and Ray had to experience the world without the pair.

"I wish I knew" Emma muttered sitting down beside her oldest friend. The four of them grew up together they spent all there days together so now it was hard to carry on without them. It's hard to carry on living when you loose someone you wanted to spend the rest of your life with goes. It felt as though a part of them had been ripped away from them. So the two sat quietly watching the stars twinkle in the black sea of the sky in a comfortable silence.
