'Can anbody hear me when I'm hidden underground?
Can anybody hear me? Am I talking to myself?
Saying, "tag you're it, tag, tag you're it"'

3rd person pov

The last light from the run leaked through the window in the library shrinking on Y/n's face causing a yellow glow around her face. She squinted her eyes at the sudden light and soon enough the curtain was closed and as Y/n opened her eyes she saw it was Ray who closed it. The blonde smiled at the boy warmly and mouthed a short thank you which earned the dark-haired boy nod his head at her.

"I was so distracted by the tracking devices that I didn't think we would get another adult!" Norman shamefully stated frowning some books that lied on the desk in front of him in frustration. How could he have missed it?

"Oh yeah because trashing the place will erase what just happened, nice one brother" Y/n sarcastically said causing Ray to snicker at her quick remark. Norman shot her a serious glare which made Y/n lean back in her chair and throw her head back roughly running her hands through her tired face.

"Actually, this could benefit us" Ray said causing Emma to look at the raven in curiosity as she leaned against a bookshelf.

"How?" The ginger asked. Y/n began to clock on and jumped from her chair in a newfound positive mood.

"Carol and Sister Krone are our two new sources of information!" The blue-eyed girl cheered.

"I see... "Norman trailed off hanging in head low and grabbing hold of the desk he just through books off.

"Carol must be Conny's replacement" Emma sated earning a few nods between the small group of friends.

"Yeah, if this place is a farm... they must have a site where they prepare the new-borns and one-year olds for replenishment" Norman explained.

"So did all of us come from there...originally?" Emma asked looking at Norman for an answer.

"Most likely" He bluntly stated. "It's significant that there's another adult other than mom. There might be other farms just like here" Norman said turning around to look at the three.

"So are the adults who obey the demons under control of demons from birth, or after they're captured? After we escape, things will change depending on that" Y/n muttered as she shivered feeling a cold eerie feeling wash over her. "Can you image how it must have felt like for them? how mom must have felt" She trailed off as she began to feel sympathy for them. She felt eye's burn into her as she realised what she had just admitted.

Y/n actually felt sorry for the enemy.

"Sorry forget what I said" Y/n quickly said as she ruffled the hem of her skirt anxiously. Ray walked over to her and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"We need to find the location of the tracking devices" Ray said trying to ease the newfound tension in the small library.

"I searched all over my body." Emma said as she began to pat down her clothes one last time "But I didn't find any traces of somethings being implanted"

"I didn't find anything in our clothes or shoes and nothing in our hair either" Y/n said.

"Based on mankind's existing technology it'll probably use radio waves" Ray spoke up remembering a book he had read about the recent technology. "Something really small that wouldn't leave a scar and with a battery that can last over 10 years"
