"So..."
"Shut up Niall."
"What? I wasn't doing any-"
"Niall, I said shut up."
"God! What crawled into your panties," Niall grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest as he glared at Harry through the corner of his eye. He pouted rather childishly, and sunk further into his seat.
Harry smirked slightly. Niall had been talking the whole way to and back from the McDonalds down the street, and to be honest Harry wasn't in the mood for chit chat. The steaming bags of food in the middle of the two front seats started to fill the car with the smell of sausage, and it wasn't helping Harry's grumbling stomach one bit.
"But can I just-"
"Nope." Harry stopped him. He snuck a glance at the irish lad with a smirk. Niall pouted and stuck his tongue out at him, making Harry laugh.
"Your just like a five year old," The curly haired boy commented. Niall sighed and slumped further down into his seat, if that was even possible. He kept eyeing the food, wondering how much crinkling noise it would make if he reached in to sneak a hash-brown.
Just one.
"Don't even," Harry said, already figuring out Niall's plan by the way he eyed the bag with hungry eyes. He looked like a predator stalking it's prey. He almost felt bad for the hash-browns.
Niall scowled and threw his hands up into the air. "I can't take it anymore! I think my stomach is starting to waste into nothing. Are we almost there?"
"You're fine, Nialler. We're there now," Harry said, furrowing his eyebrows and pursing his lips as he turned into the hospital parking lot. Niall sighed in relief as Harry turned the key from the ignition and shoved it into his black jeans' pocket.
"I don't know if we can bring food in there..." Harry mumbled, peeking over Niall to look at the building.
"Yeah we can! The cafeteria! They'll let us eat there, right?" Niall said quickly, licking his lips. Nodding slowly, Harry sighed and unbuckled his seatbelt. He was too hungry and tired to even give a damn if the hospital cared about them sneaking some McDonalds into their cafeteria.
"Let's just go then," Harry said, hopping from the car and grabbing two bags and leaving the third to Niall. He slammed the door with his knee, and scoured the area for any fans or paps that might be lingering around. Luckily, there was none.
He just hoped the rumors of Liam's disappearance didn't spread as fast as he thought it would.
He looked up from the vacant parking lot to see Niall already scurrying towards the hospital, marching with such determination it made Harry giggle. He took a jog after him and finally the two returned to the well awaited three boys.
"Well it's 'bout time!" Zayn exclaimed, standing up while licking his lips.
"Let's go up to the cafeteria, should be better to eat there than here," Harry explained, shuffling past the waiting room. He caught a glimpse of Liam just before he turned to corner to the hallway. He assumed he'd already returned from Ash's room.
Before they knew it, the five of them were all on the third floor, seated around a table with sausage, hash-browns, and egg McMuffins. A very thorough breakfast indeed.
"So," Niall started, his voice muffled by his mouthful of food, "Management might be a wee bit upset with us."
Liam froze in mid-bite, frowning immensely as he turned to look at the blonde boy. "What? Why?"
