Two weeks later...
"Oh god," Liam breathed, nearly having a panic attack right there on the spot. Laughs surrounded him as he fanned himself.
"Calm down, Li!" An Irish voice chuckled, right before a hand was slapped onto his back in a friendly manner. Liam looked up at the voice, happy that Niall was reassuring him. Because yes, he was nervous as hell.
"Okay, okay, I'm fine. Nothing's wrong, I'm totally okay!" Liam chuckled as if he was mental, making Zayn and Harry frown and look at each other with deeply confused glares. They were starting to think Liam was going nuts until he looked up with a straight smile.
"Really guys, I just need some time to think about what I'm about to do here," Liam sighed deeply.
"Oh you think? I think you need more than just a little time," Louis smirked sarcastically. That comment was soon slapped out of him from playful hits on his back from his bandmates.
"Liam," Harry said after a while. Liam looked up from his hands with a shaky smile.
"Yeah?"
"Go get your girlfriend."

Liam rushed into the hopsital, his sneakers squeaking over the white linoleum. Fear crawled into the pit of his stomach as he eyed the receptionist, who he'd come to know as Abby, sitting at her desk, oblivious to his nervous approach.
Only when Liam's subtle cough sounded did she look up, a bright smile lighting up her face.
"Liam! Good to see you again, love!" Abby exclaimed, pushing her pink rimmed glasses further up the bridge of her nose. He returned her smile weakly, before clearing his throat.
"Erhm, I'm here to pick up Ash? Ash Jameson?" He said, reaching up to drum his fingers upon the desk repetitvely.
"Oh! Of course, she's ready for you, right down that hall," Abby gestured towards the left hallway, leading towards the patient's room's. Liam nodded slightly and said goodbye to Abby before slipping away from the desk and shuffling down the hallway.
Of course, his hands were shaking.
He was about to do something that would change his life, he was about to do something that would change everything.
And it scared him.
So as he walked down the hallway, his mind cluttered with the thoughts of consequences, Liam felt fear somewhere in the pit of his stomach. But he also felt something else, happiness, excitement, love.
After all they'd been through, Liam just wanted to hold her.
So as he finally entered her room, and saw her standing there, her eyes glassy and wide, Liam couldn't help himself. With a happy gasp, the two advanced each other quickly until they were tangled in each other's arms.
"Liam," Ash breathed happily.
"Hey, babe," Liam murmured, holding her close to his chest. "You okay?"
"Couldn't be better." As Ash slipped from his arms, Liam looked up to see a doctor, standing there with an awkward grin on his face.
"I'm assuming you're Liam!" The doctor stuck out his hand. "I'm Dr.Paisely."
Nodding, Liam reached out and firmly grasped Dr. Paisely's hand and shook it before retracting.
"Now, she has to take it easy, nothing too strenuous as she's still pretty sore. I'd advise her to relax for the next few days just to be safe. Other than that everything seems to be under control, and you're free to go!" Dr. Paisely grinned and clapped his hands together. "If anything abnormal pops up, just shoot me a call and we'll check it out."
