Welcome

10am, I just landed at the international airport of Washington where Amber and John, my host parents are picking me up with their daughter Jade. I am so excited to meet them and finally live my dream life far away from all the french drama.
I am waiting for my luggages so I've time to introduce myself. I am Anna, 18 years old and I am from a city next to Paris.
I don't really have friends back home, everyone used to judge me for the mistakes I made a while ago. I had sex with my Softball coach who had a wife. I know that wasn't the best idea.. But now, I just want to start over, I don't even want to meet anyone here either. None of these hot American boys will turn me crazy again.
Anna in America is the new me, the perfect place for me to start over my life without any one judging me, no one knows me.
I finally got my luggages and I am seeing Jade with a poster. I hugged her and her parents. I am so happy to finally meet them but my English is so bad that I am so embarrassed to talk with them about my long trip. It will get better for sure though.
An hour driving later, I entered for the first time in my new house for 10 months. I didn't have the time to unpacked that Jade asked me out to meet her best friend, Brianna at Dunkin'Donuts.
To be honest, I said yes but I don't even like coffees... Jade is obsessed with coffees and donuts so I won't be rude and just act like I do too. When we get there, Brianna acted like we knew each other for so long. She is literally one of the sweetest girl I met in my whole life. She told me she doesn't like coffee so I felt free to tell them too. Jade showed me the menu and told me that the lemonade was good so I got it.
When I tried it, I realised it will become my favorite place in town.
