As I wake up, I am greeted by unfamiliar surroundings. I wonder for a while where I am until I remember the past day's events. I'm in Gotham.
I slowly get out of bed and go to the kitchen where I left my phone. I quickly notice that my parents messaged me.
-Papa🥐- Hey! We just saw your text. Happy to hear you made it there safely. Jagged asked if you liked your room.
-Marinette🧁- Hi! Sorry for the late reply! I fell asleep as soon as I got here 😅. You can tell Jagged that this place is great.
I'm not really expecting them to reply yet so I put my phone down and make myself some pancakes for breakfast. Funnily enough, as soon as I sit down, I hear my phone buzz. I see it's a text from maman.
-Maman🍰- Jagged says he's happy to have been of service. 😁
I smile to myself before putting my phone back down to enjoy my breakfast in peace.
°Time skip°
After breakfast, I decided to go for a drive around Gotham. Uncle Jagged didn't give me the keys to a car for nothing. I put on a black t-shirt with the inscription "broke artist", some fishnet tights and baggy ripped jeans. To complete the look, I put on the same platforms I wore yesterday and wore some eyeliner and lip gloss.

I posted a pic of one of my previous outfits on my MDC Instagram account before going outside. I made sure to bring pepper spray and a small knife with me in case I got into any trouble if I went outside.
I grabbed my keys and told Tikki and Kaalki to hide in my purse. I don't want anyone to see them.
I enter the garage and find the car. I get in quickly, sync my phone to it and play one of my favorite playlists.
I drove around for about three hours singing my heart out with Tikki and Kaalki singing along in the back.
Gotham and Paris seem like polar opposites. I know I should have expected that. I mean, I did leave the city of love for the crime capital of the world... It's just all so dark and gloomy, which is new to me, especially in summer!
On the other hand, it's giving me a lot of inspiration for designs. I parked my car once or twice just to draw a few and ended up filling up my sketchbook and I still have loads of ideas.
I need to buy some fabric! I'm not going to wait until September to make all of these. I just can't!
I spot a few cute shops while driving and decide to stop. I park the car and grab my stuff before walking into the first fabric shop I see.

I ended up walking around for hours buying all kinds of fabrics before taking a break.
