Marinette's POV :

Dear Marinette,

Congratulations! It is with great pleasure that I offer you admission to the GFP class of 2023.

Your thoughtful application and remarkable accomplishments convinced us that you have the intellectual energy, imagination and talent to flourish through our program. Among over 15,000 applications we read and 5,000 people we interviewed, your distinguished record of academic excellence and personal achievement stood out. We are thrilled to to welcome you and look forward to seeing you around campus next September.

The exciting next step is now yours. As GFP is probably only one of several options you will consider in the coming weeks, I hope you will use the time to learn more about us. Whatever decision you make, we ask that you complete the the enclosed enrollment response card and return it to us by the postmark deadline of March 2, 2023.

While we have every reason to believe you will complete this school year successfully, remember that your admission is contingent upon your continued strong academic performance in the program you presented to us in your application.

Once again, I extend my congratulations on your admission to GFP and welcome you to the family.

I got in.

I. Got. In.

I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks.

I thought they hated me... I thought they hated me! How did this happen!? There must be a mistake somewhere!

After re-reading the email once again, I still couldn't believe it. There was no doubt about it, I've been accepted into my dream fashion program.

Tim panicking : Marinette? Marinette! Are you okay? Should I come over? I'm coming ove-

Marinette, still crying : I'm fine!

Tim : No, you're not!

Marinette : I got in!

Tim who had been calling Kaalki over turned toward the screen and stared at me for a couple of seconds.

Tim shocked : What did you say?

Marinette smiling : I got in. These are happy tears.

Tim started jumping up and down with excitement. He looked more excited than me!

Tim : You got in!? I mean, of course you got in! You're too talented not to! But you did have me worried there for a second!

I laughs at the blush that's quickly covering his features while wiping away the remaining tears on my cheeks.

I can't believe that this is real.

I can't wait to tell my parents!

Marinette : I should probably go tell my parents the good news! Do you want to hang up, or should I show you their reactions?

Tim : Why would I even want to hang up when I've got the chance to see the most beautiful person on Earth tell her parents that she got into her dream school?"

I blush at his words and try to hide it behind my hand, but he notices it anyway.

Marinette : Okay then!

I pick up my phone and go downstairs, where I find my parents in the sitting room playing UMSIII. They look up at me as Papa wins the game.

Papa : Wanna play?
