      *********

His little holiday was up and it was the day he wanted to travel. And as arranged, he invited his parent to lunch before he left.

He originally went with Keila to the restaurant, then his parents would then come and meet them there.

Of course, he hadn't told his parents Keila would be there, so his mother wouldn't refuse to come. He didn't have much time to keep them together and didn't want this only time to be ruined also.

He watched as Keila was uncomfortable on her seat but he kept giving her words of comfort. He had two hours before his flight time and it was almost time for his parents to be there. Keila took sips after sips of water and she was dabbing her face every minute.

He wasn't happy she was like that but he couldn't find himself doing anything other than what he wanted to do, to help.

Just then, he watched as a black Lexus Jeep pulled outside the restaurant. He stopped looking and focused on Keila, then saying some jokes to make them laugh.

He watched Keila loose concentration on him and followed her gaze, the car that pulled up brought his parents. He had expected them to come in their own car.

Aden and Matilda came down from the back passenger seat and lingered on. He didn't miss the fact that his mother's face lit up when she saw their driver coming out too.

The person had long black straight hair, and wore black leather jacket, on a pair of black leather pants, red boots and a red purse, red lipstick and red inner, she also had on dark shades, and carried a hint of pride.

The person flashed his mum a smile that was toothless and Matilda nodded while gesturing with her hands the way they were going. Aden took the lead and without emotions on his face, walked in and caught Hayden's hand which was up in the air, trying to tell him where they had a seat.

Matilda and the girl walked right after him and they all got to the table. Hayden immediately noticed his mother's displeasure at finding out that Keila was there.

"Have a seat dad", Hayden said disregarding his mother who took a seat nevertheless and motioned the girl to another seat.

"Keila, how are your doing?", Aden greeted with a smile.

"I am uhhh...fine, sir, and you?", she asked obviously showing she was nervous.

"I am okay too, hope you guys haven't been waiting for long?".

"Oh not really, we just got here not quite long", she forced a smile.

"Hmmmn", Matilda feigned a cough to gain attention.

Keila immediately stood up to acknowledge her
  "Good afternoon, Mrs Xanthias".

Matilda didn't return the greetings but shot Hayden a dark look.

"Why is she here?", she pointed at Keila.

"I don't remember making an arrangement that says my girlfriend wouldn't be present", he retorted.

Matilda scoffed and looked at Keila like a giant with contempt.

"Take a seat Keila", Aden told her which she did after dabbing her face again.

"Elena, this is Hayden. I don't expect you don't know each other", Matilda introduced.

The girl, whom Keila and Hayden were now aware was Elena, took off her dark shades and flashed them another smile.

"Hi Hayden", she greeted. "We used to know each other", she said

Hayden felt lost since he didn't know if he knew the girl. He didn't want Keila to get a false impression. A waiter came over and they all made quick orders, but Keila said she was fine with water.
