   Keila felt very nervous going to see Hayden's parent. She knew them but hadn't seen them before, but only heard from his dad once.

   Hayden noticed this and gave her an assuring smile trying to calm her down but she didn't seem to relax a bit. She was a timid girl.

   "We are there", Hayden announced and saw her heart rate pick up immediately causing him to erupt in laughter.

  "What's funny?", she asked, playfully crossed.

  "Like you're so nervous babe", he said as a matter of fact.

  "You know, I'm meeting them for te first time, like I hope I don't give a wrong impression of myself".

  "Every impression about you is sweet Keila, I don't know who won't like you for who you are".

"Thanks but that didn't help babe", she lied and laughed.

  "So lets do this, you don't have to be too nervous".

  She got down from the car, straightened her dress and let Hayden lead but he just grabbed her hand and winked at her, causing her to blush.

   He led the way to his parents house and knocked when he got to the door. In less than five seconds, the door was immediately opened by his younger sister. They were obviously expecting him. The door opened to reveal an exquisite decoration of a large living room. It was a nice sight.

   Keila clung to Hayden's hand in fear of not being accepted by his younger sister, because she seemed to access her looks from head to toe which made her cringe inwardly.

  "Hi, the girl said, all smiles. "Come on in", she gestured towards the living room.

  "Tiana, how are you?", Hayden acknowledged her presence formerly and turned to Keila before she could answer. "This is Keila, my girlfriend, and Keila, meet Tiana, my only sibling", he introduced.

  "Nice to meet you Tiana", Keila said first.

  "Oh my, you are Keila, I'm pleased to meet you and damn, you are beautiful" Hayden's sister said.

  Keila felt flustered and happy.

  "Thanks for the compliment, you look good too,and it's my pleasure to meet you", she answered.

  "Please come in ".

   Hayden closed the door after his girlfriend and they all entered to meet Hayden's dad and mom in the living room over juice.

  "Such a pretty girl" his dad immediately stood up to receive Keila.

  "Good afternoon dad, how have you been mum?", Hayden said without receiving an answer.

  "Is this Keila?", his dad asked.

  "How are you son?", his mum asked her face not displaying any sweet emotions.

  "Mom, I'm okay and you?".

  "I've been good too".

   "This is Keila, dad, mom. My girlfriend ", Hayden said while Keila stood with smiles, welling very awkward.

  "It's nice to meet you my dear, have a seat", Hayden's dad offered and she politely sat on another couch where she hoped Hayden would seat beside her.

  "Keila this is my dad, Aden, and my mum, Matilda ".

"You can call me Aden please", His dad said almost immediately.

  Keila managed a smile. She seemed to notice that Hayden's mum didn't quite warm up to her, cause she wasn't wearing a smile neither had she spoken to her since she had been there, minutes ago.

  "Mum", Hayden called, noticing the situation.

  "Excuse me please", his mum feigned a cough and left the living room.

  "Please make yourself at home Keila", his dad continued as if nothing had happened.

"What would you like to tak", he asked her.

  The environment was becoming unbearable to Keila, and she felt her nervousness had been giving her a message, and she was grateful. Grateful that she had taught her heart to accept this disappointment earlier on.

  "Keila, Aden is talking to you", Hayden said to her. She had drowned in her thoughts.

  "Oh I'm fine sir, thank you"

  "I won't buy that, you are our guest so please we have a right to treat you ".

  "No, thank you sir", she replied politely.

  "Sister Keila...."

  "Keila please", she corrected with a friendly tone.

  "Fine, I'm not accepting the fact that you don't want anything cause I specifically made lunch for you, I'm a very good cook, Hayden can bet", she said cheering Keila.

  "You know I'm better off you, right ", Hayden countered.

  "Don't mind them Keila, asides their mother, I'm the better cook here".

They all laughed and got Keila a bit opened to join in their conversation. She later on agreed to have a bit of Tiana's cooking. The dishes were delicious and after a while, they left the living room for their compound where they had their relaxation . The only thing missing was Matilda and she worried Keila a lot.

   After a while, she sent a message to Hayden, asking if they could leave soon, he obliged.

  "I've got to see mum", Hayden said. "Dad, Tiana, please keep Keila's company on my behalf", he said and after giving Keila a reassuring kiss on the cheek, he walked toward the main house.

   Keila could have had a great evening except that Hayden was taking time to come outside. It had been over an hour he went to see his mum but now there were no signs of him.

   Keila guessed things weren't fine between his mum and himself. She was greatly tensed but pretended to be into the jokes Aden and Tiana made, so as not to seem rude and she often added her own.

   She couldn't have been more relieved when she sighted Hayden coming out of the house, his face not holding the usual handsome look, he seemed crossed too but started to smile when he saw her.

  "Dad, we would leave now", Hayden said immediately. "Thanks for the time".

  "It's my pleasure, give me a while to get some things for Keila, she has such a beautiful personality", Aden said walking towards the main house too.

  "Come visit soon Keila", Tiana said.

  Keila didnt hope to do that any time soon but she said she would. After Aden came back and have her an thick paper bag, they said their goodbyes and left
