Chapter 18 - First Date

"ARE YOU SERIOUS BABES??????????????? YOU BOTH ARE NOW A COUPLE???????" Kavya couldn't control her excitement after listening to what Arya said. She hugged her best friend so tightly that Arya had to tell her to leave or else Arya would have been choked.

"I am so happy for you dear. You have got such a handsome boyfriend." Kavya's voice was still a bit high and Arya was worried about that. She knew some of the maids in her house were her dad's spy and didn't want to let them hear the conversation.

"For heaven's sake, be quiet you dumbass. Do you want my dad to come home and hang me to death?"

"Oh! Sorry dear." Kavya lowered her voice and sat on the bed in Arya's room.

"So, what next?"

"As in?"

"Idiot! When are you two going on a date?"

"Dateeeeee" Arya shouted loudly and this time Kavya had to shut her mouth with her hands.

"Now, who is shouting, you dumbo?"

"Babe, we just confessed our feelings today. Give me some time to think about it."

"Are you going to do everything? Let him take the initiative this time and plan something. Let us wait and watch what your boyfriend can come up with." Kavya was giggling.

Arya was about to say something but at the same time her phone rang. She gave a broad smile and Kavya realised it was time to say good bye to her best friend.

She got up, hugged Arya and said, "Call my later baby, after you are done talking to your baby." She winked to her bestie and left the room not forgetting to carefully close the door.

Arya was so glad to have a best friend like Kavya and now she was even happier to see her boyfriend calling her. She answered the call while lying on her bed comfortably.

"Hello."

"Hey. What's my princess doing?"

"Why are you calling me princess?"

"Aren't you the one? Our story is quite opposite to what normally happens in the movies and novels. A rich princess has fallen in love with a poor boy."

"Shut up Aryan and never say something like this. You know you are very special to me."

"Oh really? What is so special about me?"

"Hmm! Take me on a date and I will tell you." Arya giggled and was waiting for an answer from the other side.

"Oh My God! Date."

Arya couldn't control her laughter after listening to this innocent reaction of Aryan as she knew that he too like her was experiencing all of this for the first time. She tried to tease him even more.

"Of course. Aren't you okay with going on a date with me? Am I not your girlfriend?"

"Nothing like that Arya. But..." Aryan was being a little hesitant and Arya noticed this. Initially, she thought of continuing the tease, but she had another doubt as if Aryan was not comfortable going out with her. Was he having second thoughts?

Aryan realised that Arya was not saying anything and guessed that his silence is making her worry. He then broke the silence by telling her his true worry.

"Arya, it's not like I am not looking forward to go on a date with you. I have never been on a date before and seriously don't know what is to be done. Can you please give me two days to do thorough research on this?"
