"Congratulations Sophia, it's a beautiful baby girl!!"
I was face to face with the love of my life. Our baby. The one I've carried for 9 months now. The one that had us all shocked.
It's funny how a few years ago I told myself that I was never going to have children. I didn't want children. And then when I was told that I was pregnant, I told myself the same thing. "I don't want a baby."
But now that I have one, and now that I'm a mother, that's all different.
I wouldn't change this for the world. I wouldn't go back in time and change what happened that night with Jessie.
Even though this baby is going to change my life even more, I'm proud to say that I'm officially a mom.
I'm proud to say that Matt is going to be the baby's father figure.
I'm proud to say that Matt and I have made it through this much in our relationship.
I'm proud to say that this is forever.
"What are you going to name the baby?" The doctor asked.
I looked up at my amazing boyfriend, him giving me a nod. We decided on a name a few weeks ago for a baby girl, so he knew what I was thinking.
"Welcome to the world, Abigail Marie Johnson."
