Chapter 2- California baby

I woke up bright and early the next morning. I spent the whole night packing up basically my whole room and texting my friends telling them how excited I was. They were all happy and excited for me. I wish I could bring them with me..

I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mom was drinking coffee and reading a book. Once she noticed me she jumped up and ran to me.

"Today's the day!!" she shouted and gave me a hug. I honestly think she's excited for me to leave..

"Yeah I know. When's Cameron coming? I asked and poured myself a glass of juice. She looked down at her watch and sat back down.

"In about half an hour"

I started to shake from excitement. I get to go to LA for 3 days and then when the boys get back, we're going to San Francisco for the next event.

I can't wait to see the boys, especially Matthew.

I was sitting on the couch watching TV when Cameron walked in.

"All ready?" He asked with his arms out and a big smile on his face. I ran to him and hugged him.

"I'm more than ready to get outta here" I said, and he chuckled.

My mom came in with the rest of my luggage and handed it to Cameron who gladly took it and carried it to his car.

My mom and I followed behind him as I also put the stuff I was carrying into the trunk. My mom gave me a big hug and then did the same to Cameron.

"Cameron, I'm trusting you to be her guardian and make sure she is safe" my mom said in a 'momish' voice. Cameron put his arm around me and smiled.

"I would never let anything happen to her Mrs. J" he said, and I looked at him confused as to why he called her 'Mrs.J' when she is his aunt. He just laughed and opened the passenger side door for me. I climbed in and watched as he ran to the driver side.

"Bye sweetie I'll miss you." My mom said and waved.

"I'll miss you too mom, Love you" I said before rolling my window up and watched as we slowly started to drive down the street,

"I'm so excited I said and put my hand on my cousins leg. He put his free hand on mine and glanced over at me for a second before focusing his attention back on the road.

"I am too Soph" He said with an adorable smile. I know he is my cousin and it might sound weird to say that but I love Cameron's smile so much.

We drove for 20 minutes until we got to the airport. I've never been in an airplane before so I was really nervous but Cam told me it was alright and that we'll be fine.

We got there and sat down only for a few minutes before the girl on the speaker announced that the plane to LA was boarding. Cam grabbed some of my bags for me and we handed the girl our tickets.

We walked on and found our seats. Cam insisted that I sit by the window since I've never been in an airplane before and apparently the view is "breath taking." So I agreed and put on my seat belt.

We sat there waiting until Cam held up one ear bud and signaled for me to put it in. He put the other one in his ear and started playing Shawn Mendes 'Life Of The Party'. I'm obsessed with this song. I could listen to it over and over with out getting annoyed.

"I love it when you just don't care. I love it when you dance like there's nobody there.

So when it get's hard don't be afraid, we don't care what them people say.
