Two weeks later

Sitting on the couch in Luca's office, I sigh loudly.

I am really bored.

It's been like this for two whole weeks.

That's right! Two whole weeks!

It's not like I can do anything about it. I mean, I would if I could.

I don't want to disturb Claire. She's Luca's secretary and knowing the kind of man Luca is, I'm pretty sure she's got a lot on her plate.

I lean back on the couch, resting my elbow on the armchair, and my chin on my hand staring at Luca who's sitting on his desk.

Casting a glance at me, he shuts his laptop and rises from his seat.

Let's go, Luna." He says, extending a hand towards me.

Finally!

"Okay."

I get up from my spot. Ignoring his hand, I walk towards the door.

From behind me, I hear him chuckle.

"So stubborn." He mumbles.

Stepping out of his office, I see Claire talking on the phone.

She seems busy so I just wave her bye with a smile which she returns.

Entering the elevator, Luca presses the G button and takes a step back.

Turning to him, I say, "I can't wait to go home. I'm so bored."

Typing away at his phone, he turns it off and puts it in his pocket.

He turns to me.

"We're not going home."

"We're not?" I ask.

"No. We're going out."

"Out? Where are we going?"

The elevator doors open and Luca extends his arm out, waiting for me to leave first.

I leave and he leaves after me.

"We're going wherever you want. Just name it and we'll go." His right arm snakes around my waist and he holds me close to him.

Everyone stares at us as we walk towards the entrance doors.

"Wherever I want?" I ask once we were outside.

We wait for the security guard to bring Luca's car to the front of the building.

"Yes. Wherever you want."

"How come?" I ask confused.

"Pardon?"

"Why do you want to take me out all of a sudden?"

"I've been very busy lately, you didn't receive my attention properly." He says with a smirk. "So I want to give you my full attention today to make it up to you."

"Ha, you wish." I scoff.

He laughs at my response, pulling me close by grabbing my chin and kissing my cheek.

"Not here! I don't need anyone staring even more than they already do." I say, looking around for anyone who's seen us.

"Okay, I'll do it at home then."

"No! You know that's not what I meant. Nothing's happening at home." I say rolling my eyes at him.

Getting no response, I look at him curiously to see him staring at me with unknown emotions in his eyes.
