Percy POV

"Percy" A voice croaked behind me

Turning around I saw someone who looked like Scar coming out of the woods bullseye slung  over his back. "Scar want are you doing here? Where's Rex? What happened to your arm?" I asked rapidly

"Im fine, it's him we need to worry about. I've managed to heal most of the wounds but some of them are beyond my ability to heal." He said laying bullseye on the ground so I could see him.

What I saw sickened me. He had lash marks across his arms, stab wounds and burns all across  his body. I could see that Scar had healed some of the less serious wounds but it wasn't in his range of expertise to heal the more dangerous ones. Telling the group to back away, I sat down beside him and started casting a spell of healing. Closing my eyes I focused first on some of the potentially fatal stab wound and the skin slowly began to heal itself. Repeating the process on some of the less fatal wounds. After a while I was confident enough that bullseye would be fine to speak to scar.

"Do you Mind telling me what happened? And where the hell is Rex?"

"We started by following a monster to one of their bases. Upon arriving we dealt with the forces residing there and interrogated the Titan in charge. He told us he didn't know who was in charge of the operation and even Kronos wasn't high up in the chain of command. So we decided to go and find Kronos to see if we could make him tell us who was in charge and where they were. But In our arrogance we underestimated his abilities and he beat us, taking my arm and dragging bullseye off to be tortured."

Anger rose up inside of me and I had the sudden urge to kill that god forsaken Titan. But pushing down my anger, i gestures for Scar to continue.

"After taking bullseye he threw Rex in a cell and told his guards to make sure I didn't die of my wound so he could speak to us later. Rex broke out of his cell and came to find me, where w e together set out searching for bullseye. We found him but, as you just saw, he wasn't in a good state. Realising there was no way we could escape with a half dead bullseye with us, Rex...stayed behind. He ordered me to taken bullseye and leave while he provided a distraction."

Taking a few steps back, I processed the information I had just been told. Rex, the man I trusted most in the world, was gone . Probably captured if not killed by the enemy.

"We camp here tonight" I said my voice unusually strained with emotion  "Jaw, Alpha, Boom go gather some supplies."

Telling them my orders, I walked off into the forest to be alone with my thoughts
