Yo, yo lovelies, I'm back ^o^
Author's note will be at the end this time (I realized it's kinda annoying for the reader if they are at the beginning, my apologies for my previous lack of knowledge in this department). From now on I'll just be asking you guys to:

The Party: Vivian's POV
Mom walks back into my room after setting up the backyard with the fleet of maids and butlers she called in. She walks straight into my closet, rummaging around in the back of it saying that she'd changed the theme of the party. I shoved all the girly frilly things back there years ago. Oh, this isn't going to be good at all...
"There must be one back here somewhere! Oh, Vivian, I'm sure you'll love the theme! I set it to be.."
Hey, Vi, how far do you think I can get away from here in the next hour? It's a shame I can't drive...
Oh cheer up, Vivi! Look, you get to wear a dress finally! Isn't that exciting?!
Vi! No! I hate all those dresses, they're all pink and frilly... EWWW!
Oh come on! You'll look so cute! You could impress the town, they never get to see you all dressed up! Come to think of it, they never really see you at all...
You scare me Vi, HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM?! If I'm wearing a freaking FRILLY dress, I won't be able to go see Aiden! I'd be tripping all over-
WOAH, WOAH! Hey, you are not leaving the party! Your mom asked you!
Viiiiiiii! I'm whining at this point. Why does she not want me to see him?! I want to see him! Vi, you know how much I miss him!
And you can see him... AFTER the party! Come on, if you leave you won't get any crab cakes!
Are you trying to bribe me? She should know that won't work, silly Vi. Aiden is more important to me than crab cakes!
That's not what I'm saying, Vivi! I'm saying it's a win-win situation! Eat some crab cakes and then go to Aiden. Maybe you can even take some crab cakes for him too! He'll love them!
That actually doesn't sound too bad. Huh. Classic Vi, being the voice of reason around here. What would I do without her? Okay, I'll do that then! Thanks Vi!
"-and just make sure you wear a nice belt with it in one of those colors I told you," Mom says, "Oh sweetheart, you'll look so pretty in this dress!" She holds up the thing with a huge grin on her face.
The dress was white, sleeve-less, and its skirt flowed gracefully down its length. Woah, where did that come from? That would look nice with my blood-red belt.. I love that belt, the color is the deepest crimson!
Oh VIVI! IT'S SO PRETTY! Watch out world, Vivi's gonna look the absolute best there!
Oh come on Vi, you know that isn't true... I'll just make the dress look ugly.
"- are you listening to me, young lady?" Mom looks at strangely, like she's worried.
"What? Yeah. What, I didn't hear you." Why is she suddenly all worried. Why is she suddenly asking me to dress up and attend a dinner party? Whatever was going on, I hope it ended soon, because I don't like it.
"I said I want you dressed and downstairs by 6:30. Our guests will be coming at 7:00. The crab cakes are almost ready so you can get some before anyone comes, okay sweetie?" Without waiting for my response, she pats my head and briskly walks away, her heels clicking on the wooden floor. That's more like it. Swift, short orders with minimal talking required. Just like always
