The Guide of Argos

Chapter 7-

IIeo couldn't tell if it is  the early morning or late night, as she felt mesmerised at the stranger's outfit.He wore a white cloak with brightly colored stars as he apparently flew through the night sky with ease,or it at least seemed like it.He tilted his black hat,and now she can see more of him.She noticed he had yellow eyes and tuff,white hair. He looked as if the moon's power is absorbed through him,which it might as well be' Could he descended from the moon itself'she wondered,as he flew off right after giving her a nod and dropping a compass and a note

Dear IIeo

By the time you receive this note,I will probably be dead. 300 of Nova's soldiers are out in the forest looking for me. I didn't give any  coordinates on where I am,in case this message gets intercepted.However, I did ask Argon(the guy in the white suit you saw earlier) to give you my message and the compass. This compass will only turn for you and it will lead you to my hideout so far

IIeo quickly pocketed the note and the compass because for some strange reason,she still doesn't trust Raymond with anything,despite having fun with him for three weeks already.She looked into Raymond's eyes and said"Come.We have to find your master Icarus before He kills him."Raymond nodded and followed her in the direction of Argos' Hollow,currently Argos' main base.However on their way,strange monkeys with supernatural powers jumped them. IIeo managed to ignore some of the effects but the same can't be said for Raymond,who looked like he was about to die. IIeo felt strange because she still can't believe how she completely avoided the effects-like she used a secret power from within.She dragged him all the way to the nearest hospital,as he's so heavy'like a baby hippopotamus. '

When she arrived at the city however,Raymond already passed out due to exhaustion,however she can still hear his heart beat.Immediatly afterwards,however  a flare blitzed up inside of his body and his eyes burned a crisp amber yellow.He developed some sort of wings and spoke in a cryptic voice that slowly dyed out but IIeo can clearly hear words in it"Go find Fathom's Ring and bring it to the highest peak in the world."After this however,IIeo found that Raymond had no rememberance of what just happened.IIeo calmly spoke to him about the Sun and Moon spirits and their spiritural and intellectual properties.After this Raymond said"Wow! You Elves have some crazy ideas",as she was just finishing up explaining a prophecy that lead to the end of the world.IIeo sternly replied"Well what do you know?"she challenged"Tell me some of your faiths,beliefs now""Or are you a total chicken"she teased afterwards.Before long,both of them were at it arguing about this belief and that belief after Raymond told her that creatures live on the sun,who have powerful fire powers that can heat up to 1800 degrees Celcius.IIeo said that these creatures don't exist because the sun is too unliveable to support any life.They were so distracted in fact,that the've forgotten the quest to save Icarus and they rushed towards the dungeon when they finally remembered but were stopped by two ghost-like guards who wield a halbard on one hand and a shield with a mysterious crest in the middle. They said(in a very deep,creepy voice)"Halt! What buisness do you have in this realm?"IIeo and Raymond didn't answer them and prepared for battle with the phantoms. IIeo drew her moon-shapped swords,while Raymond prepared his crossbow and loaded  poison tipped arrows that also causes fire damage to the opponent. They fought for a while,but eventually the ghosts let out an eerie scream before dissolving in a white mist.They searched the dungeon for hours but couldn't find a single person inside. "Strange" IIeo said"That there is almost no trace of life,not even bones."

They fear the worse;that Icarus has been transfered to Argos' infamous torture chamber to be imprisoned and his bones slowly cut out of him for the rest of his life.They slowly explored the rest of this dungeon but found nothing.Both of them accusingly blamed the other for misleading them on where to go.On their way away from the creepy caverns,they came upon a tomb shaped like a sword.IIeo pretended she haden't seen anything and walked away,about as uncaring for the subject as before,if not more.Raymond did notice it  and decided to explore inside the ancient tomb.When he entered the room however,the door suddenly closed behind him and stayed shut. Raymond did anything he can to find a way out but he soon found out he was trapped!He explored the ancient tomb for a bit until he heard a distant but eerie voice."Come to me"it said"Come to me and you'il have everything you desire"Raymond got enchanted by the hypnotizing voice and went towards the voice.Inside,he found the Kings' Chamber,filled with an enormous amount precious jewels,a sarphogarus and some random scattered objects.He was just about to leave when he saw a strange red toned metal sword of whose recipe,not to mention the strange material itself were lost to time.Raymond felt that he shouldn't really take it,as he's worried of some ancient,mysterious and uncurable effect that this sword possessed form its' original owner.He took it anyways and hid it inside his jacket pocket.

The moment he removed the dagger however,a mummy broke free of the sarphogarus and raised his hand to summon the demons.These demons have redish-gold skin,have blood poured all over their bodies from living in the underworld and have stone swords that they use to attack intruders with.The mummy was saying something from an ancient tomb that noone in the modern day could understand but it is made clear that the mummy is giving commands for the demons to follow.Raymond drew his katana that he bought from a store earlier but he soon found out that his attacks hardly did any damage to the enhanced monsters.He quickly pocketed the red sword along with his katana and quickily tried to find a way out of here.He accedentaly stepped on a trapdoor which he hoped was a way out but it revealed more demons on their way to hunt him.Unlike the other demons,this kind has blue skin,wings,sharp talons anddangerous claws.Raymond found himself surrounded and panicked for a second before throwing the red sword at a beacon,Immediatly afterwards however,the Kings' Tomb started to explode behind them.Raymond took out the red sword and used it onj the demons.Surpringly,it worked and the demons now obeyed his every command,just like they did for the mummy.Speaking of the mummy,he got burned to ashes and his soul was transported to the Underworld.Raymond got the exit key from the demons and said one last fare well to this place before throwing it in the portal.The portal took him to an unfamiliar location but Raymond thinks he saw a city in the distance.Shortly afterwards,Raymonds eyes started turning a deep crimson red from the emerald green before.He felt strange from this.He started to head towards the city and saw a lighthouse.Just as he was about to approach the lighthouse however,a thick fog blew over him and suddenly Raymond didn't even know where he was going until he got there.When he did get there,he found that he was in a cave surrounded by glowworms when suddenly someone whispered out to him"Hey!You get towards here."He hesitantly followend the mysterious voice down a tunnel and into a majestic cave.There the mysterious person showed him a valuable gift:A phoenix-dragon hybrid egg which gave a light that shone brighter than the sun itself."Wonderful isn't it ?"the mysterious person replied."When this egg is hatched,it would make our plans come true.""Wait"Raymond says"what does this have to do with me?""You are the heir to the throne of Taurid. ""That king of yours exiled you on a false charge so he can inherit the throne-and guarantee that there will be no more change in police for decades to come." Raymond still felt confused so he asked: "How am I even related to the King?"" Nobody in my family has ever held claim to the belief that they could've inherited the throne." he finished. The mysterious man was about to respond before they saw a patrol nearby. The person made jestures indicating Raymond to hide behind some bushes. Raymond however, didn't heed the warning and instead decided to attack them. Before he could even swing his katana however the commander,who was wearing dark purple robes at that time stopped him using telekinisis.In spite of all the valor from this foolhardily ambush, it was usless in dealing any damage to the commander. However, suddenly the guards were ambushed in the forest by invisible assassins.Now however,the swords' effect starts to take place,with Raymond beligerentily breaking free of the telekinisis spell and violently attacking the commander.Before he can land a single strike,the commander suddenly dissapered out of thin air. After that, Raymond decided to take a break for a bit to heal up from all of the wonds from earlier.Then he went back to the mysterious person,who berated Raymond for his stupid actions.Raymod asked again,one more time "Who are You ?"
