"This is new..." Bungad ni Nikolas sa akin pagkapasok na pagkapasok sa condo ko. He saw me packing my things. "I thought you're not accepting clients who are offering you to be their personal physician? When did things change?" Halakhak niya na parang nang-aasar. 

Umiling na lamang ako dahil totoo naman iyon. "That's true, but this is different. I'm just repaying a long overdue debt between our families. My great grandparents and grandparents are friends with the Mirabiles. At malaki ang utang na loob namin sa kanila noon pa man. What I'm doing for them right now is nothing compared to that."

Napanganga siya habang tumatango. Hindi naman na siya nagsalita pa at tinulungan na lang ako sa iba pang damit ko.

"Palawan 'no? Saan doon?" Tumigil siya sa pagtupi. Para kaming mga bata rito sa sala ng condo ko. Nagkalat ang damit at parang hirap na hirap pa mag-impake.

"Bakit?" I smirked at him. "Pupuntahan mo 'ko?" Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

"Mami-miss lang kita pero 'di kita susundan 'no." Tanggi niya agad na nagpatawa sa akin. "Pero seryoso, bro... Hanggang kailan ka roon?" Napaisip naman ako... There's no specific date.

"I'm not sure. I just know I'll be with Señor Antonio during his full stay there. I have no idea when he'll decide to go back."

"Send me pictures. I wanna see the famous Palacio Baroque that every one is talking about." I nod my head and continued packing. I'm sure it's just like any other palace.

"Putangina, ano 'tong lugar na to?" I whispered in Filipino in its full glory. Natawa ako sa nasabi. Good thing no one heard me! Or it will be utterly embarrassing.

I also just met Señor Antonio's eldest grand daughter, Lux Priscilla.

She's so graceful and kind... Prim... Strong. Not like the girls that I've met before. Her long, soft wavy hair. Paper white skin. Her pretty, almond brown eyes. Napakaganda at hindi nakakasawang titigan. She's an angel. I don't think I can imagine her getting mad. Hindi ko maisip iyon. She's also too kind for her own good.

And I also didn't mean to scare her horse! I was just walking. I felt so bad so I did my best to assist her and take care of her foot for a few days. Hinatid pa niya ako sa palasyo kahit na sinabihan ko siyang mag-lie low sa pangangabayo.

So stubborn. But I owe her one. I wasn't late because she helped me.
