17. Yellow Rose

Tomura is a villain...

It's been 2 weeks since our last meeting. I'm sitting in my apartment contemplating what I should do.

Tomura gave me a choice but I don't know what to choose. I spent the last few days researching him and his league to see if I can truly trust him again.

Of course, I made a new email address and social media account to keep up with the news.

Suddenly I heard my doorbell ring. I looked through my doorbell camera and to my horror, cops were waiting for me.

"How can I help you?"

"Hello miss l/n, we are detectives from the nearby police station. Don't worry you're not in trouble we just want to ask you some questions."

"I cant. I need to leave soon."

That was a lie, my classes start in 2 hours.

"Why don't you come by the police station later so we can talk?"

I contemplated my answer but chose to accept in the end. I was confused about why they wanted to talk to me. to be honest I didn't even think they were real police officers. why didn't they call me to ask to come to the police station instead?

I was wearing a scarf and a beanie so my face was relatively covered. When I and Tomura ran our backs were to the officers and hero so they couldn't even see my eyes. Plus, I got rid of the clothes I was wearing that day.

How did they find me?

"Just call me y/n and please hurry with your questioning."

"Of course, miss y/n I'm guessing you already know about the U.S.J. incident?"

"I've heard of it but to be honest I don't really care for hero drama. Get straight to the point already."

"Is that so? Well, security camera footage from 2 weeks ago the same day shows the leader of the U.S.J. incident walking the streets of Tokyo with a woman who looks almost identical to you. Foreign, h/c hair, e/c eyes, about the same height and I could keep going."

"Is that the only reason you think it's me? That's not very convincing since Tokyo houses a lot of foreigners and anyone can have h/c hair. Furthermore, this woman's face is almost completely hidden so how did you come to the conclusion that it was me?"

"I can't tell you that. But be assured that you are not the only one who has been interviewed."

"So you're just going around interviewing all the foreign women with h/c hair, e/c eyes that live near Tokyo?"

"Exactly, but if you can provide us with an alibi we can rule you out."

That will be hard since I was out with Tomura that whole day and security camera footage only shows me getting home late at night.

"2 weeks ago right? I was out that day."

"Then I'm sorry to say this miss y/n but you're on the list of suspects now."

He asked me more and more questions until I started to feel uncomfortable and asked to stop.

"Are we done with the questions? I'm busy with school work I don't have time to stay here any longer!"
