Vega's POV:

I sit on a leather chair in the middle of a club. A balding middle-aged man is sitting in front of me, drinking some brownish liquid from his glass. I sight. Morning meeting in the club, like it, could not wait until the evening. But Petrov seems not to share my displeasure. He is drinking one after another despite the clock only showing 10 in the morning.

"I heard you had some issues with the clients after your father's death," he says and smiles creepily at me.

"Yes, but the things are back to normal," I lie. "You don't have to worry. Nothing will affect our deal. You will get your guns as promised".

"Hm...I am not worried about the deal. I only wanted to know how..."

"Is this vain conversation the only reason why you insisted on the meeting before going to look at guns?" I interrupt him. He is getting on my nerves.

"No. I thought we can chat a bit and then close the deal like we used to," he says and puts his hands on my tight, going dangerously high. I want to vomit now. I always found him disgusting. Of all the clients I had to sleep with because of my father he was the worst one.

"We don't close the deals like this anymore," I respond and stand up, buttoning my jacket.

"We take the look at the guns tomorrow as promised. You don't have to worry, they are of excellent quality".

"I am sure they are. All of your guns are," he says with a weird tone in his voice, which I suppose was flirting. Disgusting bastard.

"If that's all I'll be leaving now," I turn around and walk away. But before I spare a glance at the Russian and see him smiling at me weirdly, like I am a prey he knows he is going to get sooner or later. Keep dreaming asshole.

Pete's POV:

We almost reached our destination when my phone buzzed.

Vegas:

Finished the meeting. Are you there already?

Pete:

I told you to call, not text

Vegas:

I bet you would not hear me through all the noise my crazy cousin is making

Pete:

Uhm. He is having time of his life.

Vegas:

I bet. He got you away from me. Now he only needs to persuade you to stay.

Pete:

If you keep renting about it, it might not be such a hard job

Vegas:

Don't even joke about that or I am leaving everything behind and coming to get you

Pete:

Hahaha...are you going to tie me up too? Don't forget that I am already used to it

There are a few minutes of silence from Vegas. When the phone beeps again I see a photo attached in the chat. It's Vegas in his car and the caption says: Already on my way. You shouldn't have teased me like this.

I don't respond immediately. I admit I wish he would leave everything behind and rush to me. Thankhun is crazier than ever and I wish Vegas was here to get him away from me. I notice how many buttons are undone on his shirt. He is showing off his bare chest. I track my eyes along the lines of his abs. He has a beautiful body. I remember how those abs feel under my fingers when I touch them. Suddenly, the beeping noise pulls me out of my daydreaming.
