Vegas' POV:
Pete, Venice and I are in the car on our way back home with the rest of the family in the other cars. Thankhun protested that he wants to go with us, but I only gave him one look and he knew it wasn't going to happen. Pete was playing with Venice who was restless since morning, and I was thinking about what I had to arrange as soon as we get back. We are about 30 minutes away from our house when the car before us that belongs to Kinn and Porsche takes a wrong turn. The deal was we are all going to our house first.

They take another wrong turn and I can't see them anymore. Something is wrong. I turn to the back window and see that Thankunh's car is still behind us. Pete stops playing with Venice as he realizes there is something wrong. He looks up at me.
"They took the wrong turn again, but Khun's car is still behind us,"
"So is Kim's," he responds when he checks through the window. We both look outside but spot nothing unusual. Why the fuck did they turn that way?
"Should I continue the normal way or go after them?" the driver asks me and I think about it for a while. I take out my cell phone and try to call Kinn. No response. Why didn't they say something through the intercoms?
"Follow them," they better have a good reason for this change of plans. For their own good, I hope they are not just shagging in the backseat.
"The other car wants to talk to you. They are going to call your phone," the driver, whose name I didn't bother to learn says but keeps his eyes on the road.

Suddenly, Pete's phone starts buzzing. He and I both look at the screen. It's Arm from Khun's car, so Pete puts him on a speaker.
"What are you doing? Why are we taking the wrong turns?" he asks immediately.
"Khun Kinn went that way and we lost him from our sight," Pete explains. "We thought it would be best to follow them and see what happened."
"OK. Can you see them now?" he asks and both Pete and I turn to the front window.
"I think they are about four cars ahead of us and have one car of bodyguards with them," the driver says. "Are we going to follow them?" Arm ask.
"Yes, Kinn is not answering his phone. But under any circumstances don't allow anyone to get between our cars. We have to stick together! And be ready to intervene!" I order him.
"Yes, Khun Vegas." Pete ends the call after it. I take out my gun from the holster and so does Pete. We both look out of the windows, but there's nothing suspicious. No car following us, no men on motorbikes. Nothing. I take a look from the front window and see that Kinn's car takes the turn to the right and basically comes back on the road to our house. "Maybe they just saw something they thought was suspicious," Pete says. "Maybe. But why the hell is he not answering his phone?"

We drive the rest of the way to our house and stop after we get in front of our gate with Nop and my men already waiting for us. They check the first car and let them go inside. They repeat the process with us and the cars behind us too. We stop in front of the main entrance and I get out of the car immediately.
"What the fuck was that?" I start angrily. Pete is behind me and he touches my arm lightly to calm me down.
"We had a little problem," Kinn responds. Thankhun and Kim come out of their cars too.
"What problem exactly?" Kim asks.
"The intercoms in the car and our phones were not working. We saw a black unmarked car on the road we were supposed to go to so we turned," Porsche explained.
"What do you mean they were not working?" I ask confused.
"It's like something in the car stopped the signal. I think someone is messing with our security system. You should get yours under a review," Kinn advises me and I wave to Nop. He understands what he is supposed to do. He just bows a little and walks away to take care of it.
"I know you just had your monthly meeting with father, but we might need another one. I will talk to him immediately as we come back so we can settle upon what to do next," Kinn proposes. I just nod as a response. Porsche and Pete hug and then the rest of the family leaves our home.

Kinn's POV:
"You can't be serious?!" I scream.
"If they are trying to kill the whole family we have to take action whether it's with Vegas, or without him," I argue, but my father seems to disagree. When I informed him about the outcome of our holiday he didn't seem a tiny bit concerned.
"A lot of people tried to kill us but they failed. And I am not going to be concerned about men that try to kidnap Vegas in such a stupid way. Moreover, as far as we know he might have been the only target. Not us," my father respondes calmly and keeps drinking his tea like there's nothing that could bother him.
"But someone got into our intercoms system and our phones," I say with my teeth clenched. Is he for serious right now? He is going to put us all in danger just because he sees a chance to get rid of Vegas? I know he is pissed about how smoothly Vegas took over the business after his father's death, but I didn't assume he will go as far as letting him die and endanger everyone else in the process.
"I insist on reviewing our security system. Bottom line there was something wrong with it and it can not happen again," I say still with almost clenched teeth. My father nods
"As you wish."

I got out of father's office mad and ready to kill whoever comes into my way. His attitude towards this whole situation is just ridiculous. The men are obviously after us and his idea is to just wait. Until what? They kill one of us?
