Porsche's POV:

I enter the bar with Arm and Pol behind me. I spot that Pete is already waiting for us. We are late because Thankhun insisted on going too. It took us about 20 minutes to persuade him to stay at home for his own safety, but he was sulking when we were leaving. I pity the bodyguards that had to stay with him, especially the newbie.

When we approach Pete he raises his head from his phone and showcases his cute smile to us. He is wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, that looks like satin and ordinary black pants. The first few buttons are open and I can see a bit of his chest and a chain he wears around his neck. His cohabitation with Vegas is showing in his style a lot lately. The clothes look like he accidentally picked them up from Vegas' closet and not his. The number of undone buttons on his shirt is also higher than it used to be.

I smile back at him and sit in the chair opposite his. Pol sits next to me and Arm goes to sit next to Pete. I spare a glance at him and notice he is also checking Pete's outfit with curiosity and little confusion. I bet he is thinking the same thing as I am.

"Are you waiting for long? I'm sorry we are late, but Khun wanted to go with us and he wouldn't listen."

"It's fine. I was late myself," he responds and smiles at me again. The smile kind of softens the bad boy look the outfit was giving him. I smile back when the waiter comes and we order what we want.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" he asks when the waiter is at a safe distance and cannot hear us anymore. I sigh and start talking.

"Kinn wanted us to meet to let you know his father decided to do nothing about the men that attacked Vegas. No investigation, no help," I say and watch Pete not to even move an eyebrow. He doesn't look surprised.

"We had a glitch in our security system," he says instead.

"So did we," Arm responds instead of me.

"Khun Kinn insisted at least on checking that. The cameras were transmitting but weren't recording. But what's more concerning is that there seems to be no glitch or tempering with the intercom system or Khun Kinn's and Porsche's phones. There was no reason for them not to work when we were going home."

"Maybe they closed off their access to it," Pete got back to his bodyguard self and is already thinking about how they could have done it.

"I haven't found any traces of it but it's not impossible. I will run regular checkups of our systems and let you know if something's wrong" Arm explains.

"Uhm. We found the same thing with the cameras. I directed Nop to change the man in the camera rooms," he says and drinks a bit from the glass he already had when we came. I am about to say that we did too but the waiter comes and hands us our drinks.

"We did too. We also got more security to the brothers and Khun Korn," I say when the waiter leaves. "I see that you did too," I shake my head towards a couple of bodyguards sitting two tables away from us.

"Vegas insisted," he explained. He doesn't have to though. It took me a while to persuade Kinn that I only needed Arm and Pol with me.

"There's one more thing. About the flowers that someone sent you. They were ordered by phone and paid for with money delivered to the shop with the poem in an envelope. Delivered by some kid so no postage stamp or anything. The owner got the number but it's disconnected now," I say and then drink a bit from my whiskey. Pete looks at me for a longer moment like he is thinking about how to respond.

"I don't care about the flowers. We knew it wouldn't lead anywhere. It's important to keep my family safe now," he says. "I will let you know if Vegas finds out something from his contacts."
