Author's note: Hello, people. First things first, I am very, very sorry that I didn't post anything for over two weeks, but I got some health-related issues, just days before I was supposed to go back to uni and it's been a chaotic two weeks for me. But, the good news is I am back to my uni accommodation and have some time before the lectures start so I hope to update more frequently.

Secondly, it seems the last chapter had quite some responses. I'll promise what Pete is doing will make sense in this and the next chapters (or maybe just in my head). And just a disclaimer, VP characteristics are mostly based on the show, not the book, but I read so much Vp fanfic that at this point my characteristics of them are just one big mix of whatever I read.

Pete's POV:

"Still disgusting."

"You still don't knock," Vegas says irritated, pushing himself slightly away from me, but he still keeps his hands on my tights.

"Well, I thought the guards would tell you I was coming," Macau answers apologetically, but it seems he means it this time. He is probably scared and thinks Vegas will scold him for being late.

"How was your study session, my dear adult brother?" Vegas says so sweetly that you would have to be deaf not to hear how teasing it is.

"Good?" Macau says somewhat as a question. He is suspicious. He doesn't understand what Vegas' intentions are.

I am still half standing, half sitting on the edge of the table in front of Vegas when Macau walks in. I stand up, pushing Vegas out of my way. I walk around the table to sit in one of the chairs. As I am sitting down, I take a glimpse at Macau's back pocket. The condom is not there anymore. I stare with an amused look at Vegas. He understands immediately.

"Only good?" he says slyly and I notice that Macau stiffens a little.

"Ehm, it was a study session. They are not usually very enjoyable. Besides, he was late and only get me some materials..." he explains kind of hastily.

"And what did you get him in return?" Vegas ask innocently and I have a hard time not laughing. Macau looks firstly confused, looking between me and Vegas, trying to comprehend what is happening. I try to smile at him reassuringly, in an attempt to show him he is not going to get scolded, but it fails. I am on a verge of laughing. When Macau sees that, realization spreads across his face. He knows Vegas is making fun of him.

"I bought him coffee. What else was I supposed to get him?" he looks back at his brother with a poker face.

"I don't know. Maybe a good time?" Vegas says and I laugh a bit. I cannot help. How is it that Vegas can content himself?

Maca looks at me with an angry, betrayed look, when I make the noise.

I content myself enough to pat him on the shoulder and say: "Vegas and I just want to know if there's something you want to tell us."

"Actually, we just want to know who you are fucking," Vegas adds. I frown at him, disapproving of what he just said.

"I...I am...sorry?" Macau stutters.

"Well, it's pretty obvious you have someone, so we just want to know who and make sure he is not dangerous," I say while Vegas is still enjoying that he made Macau stutter.

"I don't have anyone. We are just friends," he manages to say.

"As I said. Week game," Vegas teases him a bit more. I roll my eyes at him. Macau won't ever tell him anything after this. I swear.

"I don't have a week game," Macau says with clenched teeth. "We are just friends."

"You said that already, but do you want to be just friends?" Vegas asks a little less teasing now like he actually wants to have a conversation with his brother about it. Macau falls silent and turns slightly red, and it's more of an answer than if he actually spoke.
