3rd person (at the palace)

"You let her get away?!" The core said, angrily. The core couldn't talk before, but now it was using Marcy's body as it's host, meaning the core can do anything a human can, and possibly more.

"I'm sorry, my lord. She caught me off guard," Andrias said, replying to the Core. "Don't let it happen again. Next time, break her legs if you need to," the Core said, walking off.

Andrias sighed. Did I actually do the right thing? If I go along with this plan, I'll get to join father in the Core but what if something happens to Marcy? Andrias thought. He always felt a little bad knowing he was just gonna use her for this. But in the time they spent together, Andrias has grown to really like Marcy.

No matter how guilty he felt, he knew he had to do this. To prove to his father that he's not a complete screw up.

Sasha's pov

I felt myself slowly wake up, from what felt like a normal nap, but for some reason also felt like it wasn't.

I saw Lady Olivia asleep in a chair in my room. Why is Olivia here? I thought. I then tried to get up only to realize I couldn't. The more I tried to move, the more sound I made. All the sound I made eventually woke up Olivia.

She saw me and looked almost alarmed, and then ran out of the room. It was a little weird, but I didn't question it until she came back with Anne and Grime.

They both gasped and ran over to hug me. I let them stay there for a second but I quickly pushed them off after. Why is everyone acting like it's some miracle that I just woke up?

"Sasha! Thank God you're awake. I thought I lost you," Anne said, in tears.

"Lost me? What do you mean?" I replied.

"One of the robots hit you in the fight. Don't you remember?"

"I remember the robots showing up, but nothing after that."

Anne, Grime, and Olivia all looked at each other concerned. Did I say the wrong thing? I thought, thinking maybe this was my fault.

Everyone one then started acting like nothing was wrong. Like nothing happened at all. Saying things to me like "everything's gonna be ok," and "don't worry about anything." Do they really think I'm that oblivious?

"Why are you all babying me?" I spoke up. "Acting like nothing happened. I might not remember it, but I know something is wrong, because you guys are all freaked out and I'm here right now, unable to move."

The room quickly went silent. After a little while, Grime finally decided to speak up. "B-but, Sasha, we don't want you to worry. That's all." "Yea," Anne started, adding on to Grimes' statement. "I mean, we only just woke you and..." I then thought to myself, I would be happier still in a coma. I wouldn't be able to feel anything. Which sounds pretty good right now.

I then cut off Anne. "I would be happier still in my coma right now. Can you all just leave me alone for right now?"

"But Sahs-" Anne said, while I saw Grime and Olivia already walking out.

"ANNE, DO YOU EVER KNOW WHEN TO GIVE SOMETHING UP? First at Toad Tower and now?"

"What do you mean 'at Toad Tower'?" Anne said, her voice shaking with tears falling out of her eyes.

"You shouldn't have held on to my hand that long. You should have just let me go. You should have just let me die."

"Sasha, I... did you want to die? Do you still wanna die?"

I didn't say anything. I just looked down with a guilty look on my face. Anne then began to leave the room, but looked back for a second. "Please don't kill yourself," she started to say. "Think about Grime, Marcy, me. We all love you and have no idea what we would do without you." She then smiled, walked out, and closed the lousey curtain.

I began to think about what she said. I know there's people who care about me, but what about what I want? I then remember Marcy.

Marcy's probably going through something way worse than me right now. She was already backstabbed, figurative and literally, and captured by Andrias. I shouldn't feel like this. My problems right now don't even exist compared to hers. I need to stop. I then fell back to sleep without noticing until I began to have dreams. No, nightmares.
