Sasha, pretending to be a guard, was still holding me as she walked me out. The door slammed shut. "Sashaaa! That was amazing!" I said as she let me go. "Thanks, but we dont have time to celebrate. We need to get out of here before Darcy realizes I was faking." I nodded as we both began to run out.

We had almost made it all the way out of the castle when I remember. "THE PLANTARS! They're still somewhere in here! We have to find them." Sasha groaned in a sarcastic way. "Why couldn't you have said that 5 minutes ago."

Without saying anything else, she ran back into the castle. I snapped back to reality and ran behind her.

--------------------

After searching the castle for a bit we were about to give up. "I'm sorry, Anne," Sasha said to me. I couldn't say anything back.

Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from the room on right. It was a library. It sounded like a book fell on the ground. I ran in, hoping it would be the plantars.

I found them, but it isn't what I wanted to see at all. My hand rushes to my mouth. Tears formed in my eyes.

They were on the ground, bleeding. All of them. I rushed over to them, fell to my knees, and hugged them. I couldn't feel them breathing. "No no no no no no no," I said, pulling them closer to me.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar laugh behind me. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you care about those useless frogs?," the voice said as it started laughing again. I looked behind me and, low and behold, it was Darcy, but this time they had a scythe. "You didn't think you could get away so easily did you?" I stared at them angrily.

Suddenly, Sasha pounced on Darcy, pushing her on the ground. Darcy pushed her off of then Sasha punched them. When she did, I noticed something. Darcy's eyes glitched. They flickered from the normal orange color they were to pitch black.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Sasha run out of the library. I looked back at Darcy, who was giving me a death stare, and ran out after Sasha. We were out in the hallway when I grabbed her by the arm to pull her back. "W-we have to go back. I can't leave them. I know I can save them," I said to her, holding bsck more tears.

"Anne," Sasha started. "They're gone. We can't save them. I'm sorry but we have to go."

"N-no. I can't just leave them."

"Look, I know you're upset but we have to save ourselves. Amphibia won't last without us."

Sasha pulled my arm and I gave in and followed her. I dried my eyes but more tears kept coming. I can't tell if I did the right thing or not but I decided to push it aside until after the battle.

We turn around a corner and were met with Darcy, floating in front of us. I moved to Sasha's side, holding on to her hand. "You really thought you could get away," they said while lifting up scythe. She started to slam down the scythe in between us. The action felt like it was in slow motion.

I didn't know how to react but I knew I didn't want Sasha to get hurt. Without thinking, I pushed her away. The firey weapon sliced through my arm. It fell to the ground and blood started gushing everywhere. I immediately grabbed it to stop the bleeding.

I looked up at Sasha. Her hands were over her mouth in shock. She pulled out her swords and started swinging the core. She it one of the cords on the helmet and one if the eyes went dark, just like before. This caught the core off gaurd and gave us enough time to run away.

Sasha grabbed my hand and pulled me away. We started running through the whole castle until we found an exit. We left and found a safe a place we could hide for the next few days.
