"Oh, dear, you scared me!" My mother practically attacked me when I got home, but my father set the flying machine down and left to go lie down the moment we got there.
I sigh, patting my mother's back. "Yup. You wont believe who helped me." I yawn, realizing the long trek from today made me incredibly tired.
"No, the bull clones informed me today. I was not surprised, that monkie boy is everywhere." my mother spoke as she pulled away from me, already heading to check on my father. "Go rest, Red Son. Dinner will be soon." she waved me off.
I nod, then flatten out my jacket where my mother held on. I was not going to rest, I was going straight to my lab to work on that wing. They had been giving me so much trouble and I didn't want to just go to sleep. I could really use it, I know that, but I decided it could wait till I was standing restless.
I nod a greeting to bull clone gaurds gaurding my lab, placing my hand to the scanner and the doors opened ahead of me. The moment I stepped in they closed.
I stretch out my arms and yawn yet again, grabbing a helmet to cover my face from some tools I use and placing it over my face. I grab the tool box and head over to the large ship, terrible looking right now. I might have to rebuild.
I get to work on the wing engine and remain there for hours till dinner.
When my father found me, I knew the way he landed on twi feet in front of the ship made a huge ripplee effect on the ground like an earthquake, and that was the reason for the random missile laund from Mk. I found it rather funny how he almost hit my dad with one.
He had explained what happened in the cockpit on the way to the city, my father did not care nor listen. I wondered, and still wonder, what he thought of this sudden friendship between me and our enemy.
I knew it was weird, for I tried to claim that staff for myself once. For my family. That boy had taken it from me. I should hate him for it, but I don't. I was grateful to see the face of someone willing to help me after that kid screamed bloody murder after seeing me. I must've scared the shit out of them.
But upon seeing that noodle boy, something hopeful fluttered in my chest and remained as we hung out. I could not ignore it. It was a huge feeling, and I cannot help but think hard about what it was.
We had dropped Mk off at Pigsy's upon my request to help Mk, but my father didn't like it. He stayed outside the city waiting for me while I helped Mk home. I do not understand my father's anger when that boy saved my life. Perhaps much more is behind it than the eye can see.
I was knocked out of my thoughts my a talking bull clone behind me, I shook from fear and immediately looked at him, taking off my helmet and dropping down my tools.
"Dinner is ready, sir."
I nod silently to the robotic voice, my creation turned and left, more than likely waiting for my presence outside. I took my time cleaning up, then left. The bull clone guided me to the dining room then stopped gaurd outside the large doors of the room.
I take my seat, staring down at the food our chef had made for us. I took a whiff, and it smelt deliciously hot. Spicy. The way I loved it.
I found that I was even more tired than before, my mother obviously noticing the restless look to my eyes. I slept a lot last night and today, so I didn't really understand why I was so sleepy.
"Why don't you tell us about what happened?" Princess Iron-Fan spoke, breaking the silence other than utensils clacking against our bowls and plates, ice clattering in glasses.
"Oh," I clear my throat, knowing I'll be getting some form of punishment if they redeem my sneak out last night bad enough for one. "I stayed up late last night working on my ship. I wanted to test it. It failed, the wing sliced my side, mother." I pause to take a bite of my spicy food. "I fell off onto a tall building and struggled down. I hid myself in a park then noodle boy found me."
"Ah," she dropped her utensil, "You know better than to leave the castle so late. Will we have to put up a spell to keep you in?"
I groan, shaking my head, "Mother, I am no child. I should be able to leave when wanted."
"You sure act like one sometimes," the bull king Finally spoke, snorting.
My mother swiped at his large arm, then looked back at me, "Yes but you keep getting yourself injured. There is no need for that."
I sigh, pushing my chair back with a loud screech, shutting my mom up.
"May I be excused?"
They stare at me for awhile then my father sighs in his raspy tone and nods, "You may."
I instantly get up and walk out of there, hair smoking as I contained my anger. I should not be cooped up in here. I do not want to be here all day all night, I want to go explore places. I enjoy working on inventions and all but sometimes I need more.
I slam the door to my room, glancing around. Long ago my room had been spelled so I couldn't set fire to it from my anger. I found it fun sometimes, burning into the magical walls just for it to disappear within five minutes.
I face plant onto my bed, taking my hair out of the high ponytail, letting he fall beneath my shoulders. I liked how long my hair was, though there was no need to care for it. My power kept it maintained mostly.
I turn my head to the window on my wall, then get up and walk over. It was dark already. I open it up and lean out, glancing side to side before huffing and leaning against the wall.
I will leave tonight again. I want to see someone. I should not want to, but I do.
