Two years later.
Years of force to stay inside a lab.
Never ending work.
It smelt of grease, he smelt of grease.
Hands tousled, rough. Body stronger. He had gained from working so much, building.
He pressed a button on the machine, a noise filled the room, loud and cheerful, though the mood wasn't cheerful at all.
Years wasted to make this. This project for himself.
For a lover, himself
For a father, a mentor.
The machine came to life, face lighting up.
It was humanoid, shorter than it's creator. It was designed to be cheerful, nice, energetic.
But it'd never be alive again.
Mk would never be alive again.
"Mk." The creator spoke.
The robot turned it's head, an exact replica of Mk.
"What's up, Red Son?"
Red Son froze, then broke into tears, dropping tools to the ground as he wrapped his arms around the metal he created as Mk.
"Oh, are you okay??" Mk spoke up worriedly, wrapping his arms around the demon. The robot had a tail swaying behind itself, low to the ground.
"Ye- yes. I'm okay, Mk." Red Son sniffed, lifting his head and looking into the eyes of Mk.
They were lifeless.
"Mk, I love you."
The robot smiled, "I love you too, Red."
Those eyes would never glow with such happiness again.
