7 | the hidden member

As the school ended, Takemichi felt stupid about this but he needed any information he could get on before Halloween takes place.

"I only got an ample time until Toman's fight with Valhalla starts." Takemichi worries as Akkun, Takuya, Makoto and Yamagishi sit and stood before him in the very back of the classroom. The five of them being the only ones inside.

"To be honest, I don't know anything inside Toman." Takemichi voices out his concern once more.

"Huh? You can ask Hinari about it. I'm sure she'd be happy to explain you everything and the gang's history!" Makoto points out, spreading his arms out wide as if to give emphasis on his suggestion.

Although his idea is a good one, Takemichi pictured himself getting beaten up by Nari after seeing her fight during the August third showdown in the parking lot of the Shrine against Moebius. Never had he seen a girl fight like that before, so Takemichi really thinks she'd badass but will not hesitate to call him 'idiot' if he ever approaches her for inside scoop about Toman.

With Yamagishi's palms pressed together and his eyes closed, Akkun turns to face the guy sitting besides him. "Hey, Gang Dex. Your expertise is needed."

"If you insist" Yamagishi says, lifting the bridge of his glasses back up to his eyes. Yamagishi stood up from his seat and took a piece of chalkboard from the box before using the back blackboard inside the room. 

"Tokyo Manji Gang, Toman for short." Yamagishi begins to explain, scribbling down with the white chalkboard as he explains. "Mikey is the president with Draken as vice president and Hinari as representative. Under them are five squads and each squad has around twenty guys. They're a large gang with a total of a hundred and one members." Yamagishi then faces everyone before looking at Takemichi.

"You know this much, right?" He asks him.

"I didn't know that..." Takemichi says, a sweat breaking out of his forehead while rubbing the back of his head.

"Are you for real? And you call yourself a delinquent?" Yamagishi says, pretending to be disappointed.

"Sorry!" Takemichi says

"Quiet! Take notes as this will be showing up in the exam!" Yamagishi said, pounding his hand on the blackboard while Takuya, Akkun and Makoto let out sounds of snickering under their breaths.

"As you all know, the former Third Squad Captain, Pah chin was arrested. But thanks to Hinari, Pah chin only received a ten day house arrest. So while Pah chin was arrested, Peh yan temporarily became the captain." Yamagishi leans his back against the small lockers underneath the blackboard. "When you guys think about it, Hinari is like an all arounder. She's also under the fourth division."

"What?" Takemichi gasps. "Hinari is under the Kawata twins?" He asks in disbelief. "She doesn't seem like the type to be ordered around..." Takemichi adds, his words trailing off.

"Oh, but she is!" Yamagishi confirms. "Going back to the topic! With Hinari's negotiation with her father, Pah chin received a ten day house arrest after stabbing Osanai. Moebius isn't even a solid gang to begin with."

"There's tension with the young ones born in nineteen ninety eight and Kisaki's group born in nineteen ninety. After the August third showdown, Moebius essentially disbanded." Yamagishi pauses before adding, "But! The Kisaki group born in nineteen ninety joined with Kisaki and are now in Toman. So the hundred and one members totaled to a hundred and fifty one."

Takuya raises his hand. "What about the Osanai group?"

"Those guys, or remnants I should say, ganged up and created Valhalla." Yamagishi brings back up the bridge of his glasses up to his eyes. "They are around three hundred guys. Double the number of Toman's current number."
