2017,

Takemichi was at lost for words. He didn't know what to say after seeing an expensive looking watch adorning his left wrist and an expensive looking bag clung on his shoulders. And why was the lady at the dvd rental shop being so kind to him? That's new. What happened?

Running out of the store, Takemichi didn't know where to start. Everytime he time leaped back into the future, everything still looks the same...although, there were details, minor and major, that he needed to look out for. It is, as he likes to believe, vital.

"You're late, Takemichi." He heard someone speak to him. "You sure love this rental shop, don't you?" The same person asks him.

A scar on their left eyebrow, long hair tied into a half ponytail and silver eyeglasses? Just who is this guy?

"Who are you?" He asks

"Let's go." Was the answer he received. Strangely enough, Takemichi followed him despite not having a clue on who he is. Turning around, even an expensive looking car is waiting for him. Just what happened to Toman twelve years later?

"Well, where are we going right now?" He felt dumb asking this question. But it was better than not knowing.

"What the hell do you mean? Were going to your place." The man besides him said. His own place? Did he meant his shabby apartment-

"We actually just passed by my apartment-"

"You're the one who ordered it. Right, Koji?"

"Yes sir!"

As these two guys were conversing to themselves, Takemichi felt like trembling on his spot. Who are they? If they just passed by his apartment, where does he live now? What happened to everyone? Mikey? Draken? Nari? Hina? But most importantly, how in the world did he become someone so important?

The car suddenly came to a stop just as he was looking for Naoto's contact number.

"Hey, Takemichi. Were here already."

As soon as he got out of the car, he was immediately greeted by men bowing their heads down to him.

"Good work, sir!"

"You're late, Takemichi." One man tells him as he checks his wrist watch. "You should do better, Yamagishi!"

"Shut the hell up. He's the one dragging his ass to places." Yamagishi defends himself.

"Let's get going." Makoto says

"Your right hand man is getting impatient, boss." Takuya says

Now that they mentioned it, Takemichi lifted his head up and his eyes widened in surprise. The facade of one Japan's bext luxury penthouses is right before him. And to think he lives here? Just what really happened?

As they got into the elevator, Takemichi couldn't help but look outside the clear window, looking at how high they were going. As the doors opened, even more expensive items were in front of him.

"Thank you for having us!" They greeted him once more. Everyone except one man who had his back turned on him. This man had his hands shoved inside the pockets of his suit, looking out of the window.

"Can you make it a habit to pick up your phone?" This man tells him. Turning around, a relief courses through him after recognizing his face.

"Chifuyu!" Takemichi shouts, smiling while running up to him. "Thank goodness, Chifuyu! I've really got no clue on what's happening!"
