"Hey, have you seen Nari?" Timeskip Kazutora asks as he gave Takemichi a ride inside his car.

Takemichi was silent for a moment, debating if he should lie or not. But then decided to come clean instead.

"She's dead." Takemichi says, not needing to look at Kazutora to know that his hands were gripping on the steering wheel.

"I see." Kazutora says. "She's been trying to get Kisaki off of Mikey but he's like a leach." He comments.

"How did you know where I was?" Takemichi asks, finally lifting his head up to look at Kazutora.

"I don't know how but Nari gave me a call to meet her under the bridge. If it was her who I was going to meet, I would've bombarded her with questions. But since it's you, I thought she must have been busy chin kicking Kisaki." Kazutora says, chuckling softly.

"Why did Toman end up this way?" Takemichi asks

"Because of Mikey."

Takemichi looked at Kazutora like he couldn't believe and grasp what he was saying.

"What?" Kazutora asks, taking a quick glance at Takemichi. "Toman changed because Mikey changed." He says, shrugging his shoulders.

"But that can't be!" Takemichi urges. "Wasn't it Kisaki pulling the strings?"

"While Kisaki was holding you captive, Peh yan and Pah chin were killed. Mikey ordered to have them killed. Mitsuya went missing several months ago." Kazutora explains. "Since Draken, Baji and Nari are the shining hope to get to Mikey, Draken is apparently on death row. Baji is also missing for several months. Nari faced Kisaki by herself all this time, but it's just like you said. She's dead."

"Nari's not even the right hand woman anymore. It's actually Kisaki." Kazutora corrects. Upon hearing this, Takemichi's eyes widened in surprise.

"How-"

"Before Nari disappeared, she said she was going to talk her younger brother who works for the police. Chifuyu went with her and that's how they backed Kisaki in a corner." Kazutora says, "If my assumptions are correct, the police will do a thorough investigation and research on the businesses that Toman controls."

"Nari...is really amazing." Takemichi mumbles, closing his eyes as he somewhat felt relieved.

"Up to her dying moment, she really wanted to bust Kisaki and his crimes." Kazutora says, smiling before pulling up in an alleyway.

"Get out, Takemichi." Kazutora orders. "Someone wants to meet you here." He says.

. . . . . . . . . .

Sanzu slowly opened his eyes and the sight of the red and yellow leaves falling from the tree branches appeared to his view, there were a few birds chirping and the cool breeze of November swept pass him by. As he was slowly getting conscious of his surroundings, he came to realize that he was laying down on something plush underneath the back of his head and a hand gently caressing on top of his head.

"You're up, Haru?" He heard Nari's soft voice in his ears, music in his ears. "You slept so well." She says, fingers gently combing through his hair.

"How long was I asleep?" Sanzu asks, slowly sitting up and sitting besides Nari under the tree.

"About twenty minutes?" Nari says, more like asking while blinking her eyes twice. "You were sleeping so soundly that I didn't want to wake you up." She tells him, chuckling softly.
