Nari stared at her desk for god knows how many minutes has she been staring at it. With her hands sandwiched between her thighs under her desk, the four of them scrambled back home before the sun could even set in the sky.

"Hey" she nudged the three of them by their shoulders simultaneously. "Get up and let's go home" she told them, sitting in front of the three as they start to wake up.

"What the hell" Baji curses, rubbing his eyes before he slowly sat up, turning his head both left and right. "We fell asleep." He said before turning his attention towards Nari. "But did you see his face?"

Nari shook her head. "No I didn't." she mumbles

"It's okay, Nari" Chifuyu chimes in, yawning while stretching his arms in front of him. Kazutora resuming to sleep on his shoulder, "We might be able to see him next year's valentines" He tried to cheer her up. But did Nari have the patience to wait for the next ten months? That she'd like to find out as well.

And all the while she was staring at her desk, her classmates kept gushing and gossiping amongst themselves about receiving a letter or a gift from the person they admire, some were crying as their plans of confessing went down the drain after seeing their crush be happy with someone else. Turning to look outside the window, Nari wondered if Sanzu ever thought of her on a day like this for all the years they've spent together.

. . . . . . . . . .

"Huh? Oh! Hi Nari!" Takemichi greets her as he sees her walking down the hallway, running up to her to stand besides her as she faces her locker. "How's your valentines day going? Did you get chocolates and roses too?" He asks her. But as he turns his head to look at her, he immediately noticed the sad and heartbroken look on her face.

"What happened?" He asks. However, Nari only shook her head. She smiled at Takemichi before fully opening the door of her locker.

"Nothing!" She fakely beams to him. "I just...failed a test earlier that I studied hard for." she shrugs, taking a deep breath before opening the door to her locker. Inside, a bouquet of sunflowers were placed on top of her school books.

"Wow! You have an admirer!" Takemichi gasps, eyeing the sunflowers as Nari took it out from her locker. "You know, since my mother works at a flower shop, she told me that sunflowers not only mean admiration, but they also mean that the person who gave it to you means they are only looking at you!" He spoke before suddenly he started counting them.

"What are you doing?" Nari asks, watching Takemichi curiously.

"That's so great!" Takemichi suddenly beams, "You got seven sunflowers!" He told her

Nari raised her right eyebrow at him. "Which means?"

"The meaning behind receiving how many sunflowers vary." He informs her, "And since you got seven, it means secret love." He grins at her. "That's so cool, Nari! You got a secret admirer!"

And truth be told, Nari felt indifferent. Was it a good thing that someone is showing an interest on her or a bad thing? For all her life, she devoted everything to her Sanzu, her Haru. Never not once did she fall for someone else that isn't him, would never look at any other boy for more than five seconds longer if they aren't him.

Nari liked to believe that she was born into this world to be beside him.

"Thanks for that information, Takemichi." Nari says, smiling to him while closing her locker. "I'll be going on my way home now." she says, beginning to walk in a different direction with her back on him. "Don't forget to bring my twin sister home!"

"You got it!"

As Nari reached the last step of the stairs before turning to the left corner, she stopped in her tracks and found Sanzu indian sitting in front of the apartment, a bouquet of yellow roses resting on top of his legs.

"I didn't know you'd be here" She says, smiling upon seeing his figure. "Did I make you wait for too long?"

Sanzu removed his mask and shook his head. He was happy to see her, his eyes wouldn't lie about that. But the moment his eyes darted down to the bouquet of sunflowers in her eyes, they darkened.

"Who gave that to you?" He scowled, getting up on his feet while holding his gift for her.

"I actually don't know" Nari responded, "There's no letter or any sort along with it." she shrugs her shoulders. "But let's not talk about that, Haru." she spoke to him.

Letting out a soft sigh, Sanzu handed to her the bouquet of yellow roses while looking away. "Here. I picked these up for you."

Against the warm light of the afternoon sun, Nari's eyes twinkled at the flowers. "These are really pretty, Haru! Thank you so much!" She beams to him, hugging the bouquet in her hands.

"Do you want to have dinner with me?"

"Do you want to have dinner with me?"

The two of them asked to the other at the same time, both of them blushed at the same time again before looking away.

"I mean," Nari begins to say, "I'd love to" she says, smiling while nodding her head.

As the two of them began to walk out of the apartment building, curiosity started to build up inside Nari's mind.

"Hey Haru" she calls to him, sweetly swinging their holding hands between the two of them (Sanzu only agreed to do this with her for the sake of this day) "This is the first time you've given me a different flower. And these yellow roses are really unique. But why yellow?"

Sanzu could only smile at her with his eyes. "It's just like what you said. It's unique!"

. . . . . . . . . .

Later that night, Nari couldn't help but stare at the ceiling with a stupid smile painted on her lips. Not only did she receive flowers from Sanzu, but they spent the night having dinner together and then being driven home on his bike. The night was just too good to be true. Nari even scolded herself for doubting Sanzu about not thinking of her on a day like this. She mentally told herself that she will never accuse him of such a thing like that ever again.

And then, her mind flew to how Takemichi explained to her the meaning of sunflowers. Immediately, Nari took her phone from her bed side table to send a quick text to Takemichi.

What do yellow roses mean? pm 10:28

After pressing the send button, she bit her lower lip and patiently waited for his response. Tapping her index finger on the back of her phone, all kinds of meanings started to swarm into her mind. What if yellow roses meant affection? adoration? longing? Or worse, friendship? Nari somewhat got scared and shuddered if yellow roses meant friendship.

"Does he sleep early?" Nari asks herself, checking her phone after two minutes passed by with no reply from him. "Damn. I should have texted him earlier." She told herself, letting out a small breath as she continues to wait.

After how many minutes have passed, her phone notification chimed. Excitedly, Nari checked her phone to read the text message she received.
